    • More than just a watch
I got this for my seven year old grandson's up coming birthday. I made sure it was fully charged, and then I set the time and date, so that it will be correct when he gets it. But when I first saw the directions and everything this watch does, I thought how on earth is he going to figure all this out? But it didn't take me long to figure out how to set it up and I found it easy to understand. Remember now, I'm the grandparent, I'm the one who usually can't figure this kind of stuff out. So if I can figure it out, then he should have it mastered in no time. The watch is big, it measures 1-1/2" wide X 1-3/4" long, but for a kids watch that does everything this watch does I think its perfect. The band is a soft rubber material and it is huge, it could easily fit a good size adults arm. You probably could cut it down, but it does have two keepers to hold the slack. It comes with two screen protectors, which is also perfect for a kids watch. All in all, I think it is a pretty impressive kids watch. ... show more

I got this because my grandson wanted a watch like everyone else. He loves it. He was running in circles in the house to get his steps in. Since it arrived he wears it daily and it is holding up. Two things to note, it is not water proof or resistant so you do not want to get it wet and we found he was getting steps in while riding in the vehicle. The strap is nice and comfortable. I would have liked it if the end tucked back in like many adult watch bands do, but it does have a second loop for it to keep it in place. Warning, be sure your child knows AM from PM, my grandson sets alarms that go off during the night, lol! Over all it’s a win with us. ... show more

This is a pretty cute little watch. As a grandparent, I love that it contains a mix of fun and educational games, audio classic children’s stories, physical activity monitors, flashlight, even a camera—all within the safety of not being able to be on the Internet. My 7 year old grandson was a bit impatient about how long it took to charge the first time, but once it was up and running, he, like others of his age, had it figured out in about ten minutes. Then he kept checking his steps during the day to see how close he was to his goal of 10,000. He’d then get up and run around the front yard to make sure he got them all in. Every time I am around my grandson, he wants to push the buttons on my iWatch and move the app bubbles around. I thought it would be neat to get him his own "smart watch" so I picked this up for him. It is larger than my iWatch, so it's a bit big on him, but it is easy to use and he really likes taking photos and playing the games. The band has holes for a large wrist to a very small wrist, so the band fits, but the watch looks big on him. There are several apps to choose from such as camera, video, games, music, an alarm, and a flashlight. It is pretty simple to use. Hold the power button to turn on & off, and the other button is the shutter button. If you tap the power button instead of holding, you can access the watch menu to choose which app to use. The touch screen is sensitive. I find while trying to scroll to the left or right, I often accidentally open an app instead. Just takes a little getting used to. I was honestly surprised at the high quality build of this watch. I was expecting something much cheaper feeling. But this watch is actually really nice and my son loves it. He has another watch that actually has cellular service, but he prefers this watch despite not being able to text or make calls. I think the 2 best features are the flashlight, and the strap itself. The strap is surprisingly soft and well designed. Doesn't feel cheap at all. The flashlight is actually very bright, and it's I think his favorite feature.
