This is for my 2017 Ford Edge. One of my Keyless Entry Remotes' case was damaged to the point the keys literally fell off of it. What I needed was a new outer shell since all of the interior pieces were still good. This product worked perfectly. I did not use any of the interior casing that came with this product. I just took the insides out of my old remote, put them inside this one, and it works fine! One thing I did notice that was different about the inside of my old case..on the interior plastic piece there was a small white square of soft plastic that lined up with same size square on the circuit board. This product did not have that. I do not know if that is significant. If you are going to use the complete interior of your old remote, including the plastic piece and just need the outer shell, this works perfectly. Remember, the white plastic piece between the batteries is supposed to be there in case you are also replacing the batteries! ... show more

If anyone has ever had to replace a key fob knows how expensive they are. My sons keyfob was worn and the ring holder was broken from the fob. Having to buy just the case was our best and affordable option. Great price and easy replacement. Anyone could of replaced this case with little effort.

    • Works as advertised
This was an easy and inexpensive fix for a problem that I had heard would be costly. I never actually checked to see how much it would take to replace my broken key fob for my Ford Edge. Thinking it would be expensive, I just lived with a case that wouldn’t attach to my key ring and fell apart in my pocket every so often. I didn’t know these replacements were available just for the case itself. Taking the old key apart and transferring the circuit board was a simple task and everything snapped together firmly. Remote works good, just the buttons are exposed out and are very sensitive, if you have it in your pocket it will activate the alarm or unlock your car with a little pressure you put on it.

We bought this to replace my wife’s that over the years had cracked and broken and were held together with tape. The electronic insides of them fit perfect and everything lined up exactly as it should.

Price was excellent also much lower than from a supply house. If I need appliance parts again I will try to buy from this company.
