if you need something for a dog bath, THIS IS IT! I have a medium-large dog so I use my bathtub for her baths. she's pretty skittish around water and I was worried about her nails. dogs don't do well when they can't grip the ground (on laminate, tile, hardwood, etc.) and with her already not comfortable, I wanted to make sure she felt as safe as she could. all I did was cut a length equal to the length of my tub. I lay it in the bottom at bath time. it grips the tub so even wet, she has never slipped and always seems sure-footed. once bath time is over, I just leave it in the tub until it's dry. shake out the fur, roll it up, and tuck it in the cupboard until next time. when I first got her, she seemed VERY scared of baths. now, I can almost see the teenaged eye roll.
