This is pull on and doesn't have velcro. I think this would work on chihuahuas but the snug neck is going to be very uncomfortable for most cats and some dogs. Seen here, a very unhappy kitty we had to bribe with food to not be mad at us for this. I wish it was back fastening with velcro so you could slide paws in first and then fasten in back. This requires pulling paws over the head and sliding it on like you would dress a person. Not a fan. Design is cute but would only work for unusually tolerant pets. FWIW, our cat usually tolerates outfits but this tested even her seemingly limitless patience. ... show more

This really looks like a homemade piece, not professionally made. The hole for the neck is way too large, my dogs can get out of it easily and it doesn't look right. It's not long enough to fit properly, the measurements are all a little off. It looks cute if they sit still for a photo, but they don't like to keep it on for very long, and my dogs are used to wearing clothes. The fabric is fine but cheap, it's a little thick and soft. It would be nice to help keep them warm on these cold days if it fit correctly. I wouldn't recommend this piece. ... show more

(After writting my review I now realize I ordered a size too small, so things I have issues with are likely due to that, I think what happen was I mistook cheast size as being neck size) IF this had a zipper on the back these would be perfect, we have a little pomeranian that doesn't have much hair at this time, so I was looking around for something to put on him. It really did keep him warmer and happier! So I am going to see how to go about installing a zipper or some sort of clasps to this to make it easier to put on. Trying to get it on, had I bought one for a bigger dog this wouldn't be an issue but because they are 3-5lb dogs, I think the stretch of this is too tight, it fits once on, but the amount I have to stretch it makes me nervous I might accidentally hurt my dogs legs, and you don't want that feeling y'know. I put this on my other toy pomeranian, and found out due to her hair she's actually too big for the size I bought for my other guy so I do wonder if I should've just sized up. ... show more

First off this is very cute and feels like it really comfy on her. I have a Yorkie she's only between 4 and 5 lbs. It fit her in everyday but length. She couldn't walk around comfortably.
