I was just looking for some waterproof pull on shoes for walking in the garden or on wet lawns, etc. From some of the reviews, I wasn't expecting much. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised when I received these today. First off, someone said they had a "plastic" feel that they didn't like. Actually they have a very nice almost leathery feel. Very flexible yet nice support. I wear a size 7 and I ordered a size 7. They are perfect if I have on a light pair of socks. Barefoot, which is how I would usually wear them, they are a little loose. But instead of ordering the "half-sizers", I just slipped in a couple of Dr. Scholls inserts that I happened to have and they were perfect. Very easy to pull on. I was also happy to see that they were not clogs - I don't like shoes that have no back. They have a little back that goes about half-way up your heel so your feet don't slip out but not too high as to be confining. And how cute! When I first pulled them out of the package, I just hoped they would fit because they were adorable. So comfortable. I may be wearing them a lot more often than just in my backyard or garden. ... show more

These shoes are fantastic for rainy, soppy, muddy weather. I got them to wear when I take my puppy out in the rain or in the yucky mess after it has rained. They are lightweight, durable, easy to clean, a cute design and really comfortable. I am sure I will be able to also find a use for them when the gardening season kicks in. They will be perfect to wear while planting. I normally wear a size 7 1/2 to 8 shoe (depending on style) but looking at other reviews I ordered a size 9. Those did fit but I realiaze that they would not allow enough room comfortably for socks without making the shoe tight so I returned the size 9 and ordered a size 10 and they fit perfectly. I can wear light, thin socks or thick, chunky socks and I have plenty of room - no foot squishing. Great shoes, would definitely buy again if there was a need. ... show more

UPDATE April 29, 2023: Unbelievable! I'm looking over my past orders and i discovered i bought these shoes Sept. 12, 2015!!! They are still in great condition. There are no cracks, splits, rips nor any signs of wear n tear. I wear them for gardening, in Michigan, essentially April-November . In winter, they're my go-to shoes for taking out the trash. The traction (and fact they're waterproof) and the ease of being slip-on makes them ideal for braving the icy or light snow covered pavement. The color is slighly faded, but i'm astonished to see I've been wearing them for 7 seasons. I've not had to replace the comfy insole. I've worn them with and without socks (if you need to wear compression socks i suggest sizing up). If you're reading this, be assured Sloggers are quality shoes that hold up to the mud and wet conditions. The traction keeps you sure footed and keeping your feet dry. They're comfy, practical, fun, yet fashionable to wear. I also have Slogger ankle boots. Original post 10/2015: Absolutely love my blue paw-print sloggers. Easy on/easy off. I wear these as my work shoes at the Humane Society where I have to run dogs up and down the hallways that often are covered with water and cleaning solution, during our morning deep cleans. These shoes are one of the best for slip resistance, even with the cleaning solution on the floors, and they are 100% waterproof! I typically wear size 8 1/2 sneakers, and my feet are slightly wide (sketchers shoes are often my best friend), and I originally ordered a size 9 in these. They fit with thicker socks on, so I use them during the winter time, and re-ordered a size 8 to use during the spring and summer. The size 8s fit like a glove with regular socks on, and are easy enough to slide on and off. I have also been wearing a compression ankle brace (over my sock) on one ankle (because I got a mildankle sprain) and the size 8s still fit really well. The opening is not too tight, and they don't fly off when I am running (literally) with the dogs. I will definitely keep buying these as work shoes. I did replace the slightly firmer insole with a dr.scholls, because I work 10 hour shifts and am literally on my feet the entire time, so I needed more cushion. Other than that, they are perfect for what I use them for, straight out of the box! ... show more

I purchased this 2nd pair for my mom after I purchased a pair for myself. They are comfortable, but I wouldn't wear them on a long walk - I feel like they are not supportive enough for that. They fit snugly, but comfortable. They seem to run a bit small, so I would suggest if you are a 1/2 size, go up. They seem to be staying waterproof, and I appreciate that they are made in the USA. Perfect for quick outdoor tasks. Not wet-weather substitutes for times you'd wear shoes on dry days. They are not quite slip ons, but faster to put on and remove than heavier, higher rainboots. I love that they are so lightweight and easy to clean off. I also appreciate their slip resistant soles and many colorful fun patterns. I got a bright blue with a white dog paw print pattern since I use them mainly to take out my dogs several times a day. I feel secure on slick ground with their stiffer soles, but their floppy sides offer poor support for longer walks or extended tasks. I wear them without socks for easy removal and clean up since they aren't tall enough to keep socks dry in tall grass or driving rain. In short, these rain slippers are great for their advertised purposes at a good price. I 've worn them for a few weeks so don't know how long they will last but I'd buy them again if and when they wear out. ... show more
