I wanted to review these boots because I REALLY really hesitated before buying them due to some negative reviews. But I'll tell you, I love these! They are uber comfortable and slip on easily when my feet are dry) and pretty easily when I'm finished working in the yard. I can remove them simply by pushing in at the heel with one foot or the other. They are fantastic in the yard, even in warm weather and while maybe not the most fashion-forward of looks, they get the job done and are quite comfortable. I wear an 8.5 medium width so ordered up and the sizing is perfect. I can't attest to the longevity of these but I believe them to be well made in the good old USA. As to comments about rubbing, I can certainly see where that could happen, especially with extended wear. They don't bother my shins after several hours of wearing and I'm an average build 5'7" lady. Even if they do eventually rub, I'll figure out a fix with sheepskin or similar on the inner rims. Leave it to say that I am very happy to have purchased these and know I'll get lots of wear out of them being the suburban gardener that I am. ... show more

these boots are just what I need for working in my yard. The fit is a little snug, but I think/hope they will loosen a bit with wear. Overall, I am pleased with them.

This is my second pair of Sloggers. I happened upon a pair at Goodwill a few years ago and like the print. They were so comfortable that some days I would wear them around the house after getting home, making dinner, doing dishes, etc and not even realize I still had them on! Once I wore those out I knew I had to get a second pair. Truly these are the most comfortable rainboot I have worn. My only complaint is that if it's cold outside, these are not warm at all. In fact, it seems like the warmth is actively drawn from your feet. However, they are amazing for rainy days and I can make it well into fall before I need to switch over to lined boots. By late Spring I'm back in them. I've worn them for light hiking as well and love them! ... show more

I have been wanting some rain boots for a while now. I have tried rain clogs or shoes, but water still splashed up on my pants, so I wanted boots! My problem in finding boots: Narrow to medium width foot, muscular wide calves (18"). I have tried plus sized/wide calf boots, but not functional and still did not fit my calves properly. I thought I would try these because they looked lower than most rain boots so would not come up on the biggest part of my calf and YEAH They work. They are easy to pull on. They fit my calves, although not sure I will be able to tuck a thick jean inside as well,but at least they fit. They are comfortable. Easy to clean. Very cute! Only negative is they are a bit big on my foot. I normally wear an 8-1/2 M and sometimes Narrow. This boot did not come in half sizes so I went with the 9M. It is just right length wise, so can't go a full size down, but pretty big width wise and on the heel. Hopefully more socks or an insert will fix this problem. Over-all I like them! ... show more

I have only had these for about a week but so far I like them a lot. There is no size chart that compares EU sizes (which are way more specific) to US sizes. Since US sizes vary so much I wasn't sure what size to order. I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 US but I decided to get a 9; I'm glad I did because the 9 fits great. ... show more
