I love this canvas, but it's going to take me months to finish. And I find that I need to use a magnifying glass just to read most of the numbers, they're so tiny. If you're looking for something simple, this isn't it. I noticed that in the picture in the Amazon sell page whoever painted it didn't stay in the lines at all, and if you can paint without too much stress over staying in the lines, you'd probably like this. I'm a professional painter trying a paint by number for the first time since I was a child, and I will finish this but even working an hour a day on it for 8 days I've only finished a small fraction of the canvas. ... show more

    • Paint doesn’t cover well

I really had high hopes for this paint by numbers. The photo is beautiful, the color scene is equally as beautiful. I love that they provide you with brushes as this was my first pain by numbers and I’d have to buy them separately. The only complaint I have and it’s kind of a big deal is that some of the lighter colors don’t cover the outline and numbers that are printed in red and I’m not sure if there will be enough paint to do a second coat on all of them. This is really a bummer because with only one coat of paint it’s a lot of work to complete this painting. I have already tried adding a second coat to the white as I go and that’s still not completely covering. I will finish this one but Unfortunately probably won’t buy another from this brand/seller for this reason! ... show more

Bought as a gift for my MIL. Looks like a nice project but the packaging is not great. Everything was rolled into a small box with a small picture of the finished product on the outside. Had to unroll and iron the canvas and find a way to present the gift. I guess if I wanted this for myself it’s not a big deal but I don’t think it’s gift worthy due to the presentation. ... show more

This is a beautiful picture to paint. But the paint that comes with this kit is pretty horrible. Goes on easily but must be applied at least 3 or 4 times to achieve its true color that will also cover the lines and numbers. Also, from the picture on this website the painting has a muted look, almost with a white wash over it. But once you start painting you realize that the colors are different from the picture given.. They are much deeper and the picture doesnt have that soft pastel look. like i said its pretty but its a lot of work trying to repaint it 3 to 4 times each for every piece you paint, I wont be ordering from this company any more. There are others out there that comes with nicer paints. ... show more

This is the first paint by number project in my life. I enjoyed the project and the picture is hanging on my wall. I enjoy looking at the picture every day. I do notice though that in some places, where the color is yellow, the black lines on the canvas can be seen through the paint. I went over the spots I could see before I framed the picture, but now that it is framed, there are other areas I can see the black lines. I would purchase this product again, but just know, that the lighter colors need thick paint or you will see the lines through the color. ... show more
