My boyfriend and I love this shake!! Such a yummie chocolate flavor reminds us of chocolate milk. It’s filling and love all the vitamins and protein. We have shaker bottles and it mixes well. If you put it in the fridge after making it, it thickens up pretty good. Overall very satisfied and we enjoy our protein shakes together. Great for break at work too!! I usually have a shake and some fruit on break and I’m good until way after my shift is over. So tastes delicious, mixes good, and I was able to lose about 7 pounds so far so I would say it’s working great!! ... show more

As a chocolate lover on a diet, I was fully prepared for SimFast to taste like disappointment in a bottle. But honestly? It’s like drinking a low-calorie, chocolate-flavored hug! Sure, it’s not exactly a molten lava cake, but it’s surprisingly smooth, and the chocolate flavor actually shows up to the party. I didn’t even cry after drinking it—high praise for any diet shake. That said, I'm super bummed out Slim Fast changed the caramel flavor. The Caramel Latte was my favorite - a thick, rich caramel flavor. The Caramel Macchiato is much thinner, much more coffee tasting, much more bitter. Coffee definitely outweighs the caramel, where it was the opposite with the Caramel Latte. I'm so disappointed in it, that I opt for the chocolate, which is rare - I typically prefer caramel over chocolate. I really don't care for strong, cold coffee, as it tastes more bitter to me than hot coffee. I was hoping it was temporary because I was ordering several 12 packs in my subscribe and save monthly delivery. I don't taste the overwhelming cold coffee taste in the chocolate flavor, and I prefer its thicker consistency. Maybe it tricks my brain, but it feels more filling than the new caramel drink, the same way it did with the old, thicker caramel latte. That all said, I buy these because I love the ingredients - 20g of protein, decent amount of caffeine, 5g of fiber (more filling), some fat and low carb. I used to be a major buyer/fan of Bang Keto Coffee, but they discontinued it in their bankruptcy to streamline and remain in business. Slim Fast has been the closest alternative that I found with the added benefit of vitamins and fiber (just much less caffeine - darn). I have multiple a day and still bought these drinks when I was buying Bang Keto Coffee. I just buy more of these now. Fingers crossed, Slim Fast brings the original Caramel Latte back as an addition to their new caramel flavor, so we caramel lovers can have our preferred option. ... show more

I can feel the tummy area melting away. I do 10,000 steps a day. The flavor is awesome. This is well worth the money. I mix it to 100 spoons turns I mix it and I do have an electrical one but your fashion way is great and it gives you fill you up without getting into Munchies

The media could not be loaded. Dear Cheez-its, I love you, but I don't think our relationship is healthy. Respectfully, The Ultimate Carboholic Hi. My name is Kasey and I am a Carboholic. There is not a chip, pasta or bread that I have ever not eaten and then gone back for more multiple times. This worsens in the evening. At about 9 p.m. I begin to have lustful thoughts about chips and salsa. I start having unnatural thoughts about garlic bread and marinara. I do not keep these items in my house because I would decimate them without remorse. The problem is that my husband is also a recovering carboholic. When I say he's recovering, I mean that he wakes up in the morning full of regret and says he's "going to be better tonight." Fast forward to 9:05 PM and I hear the squeak of our pantry door. I haven't asked him to lube the door because the squeak alerts me to him doing something naughty.... and secretly, deep down, I really love it. I love his lack of will power and that he usually has the same bad thoughts that I do. "Hi, my name is Kasey and I'm an enabler." As a nurse, I know better. After years of being single, skinny and miserable; it was nice to find my soulmate who loves carbohydrates as if they are a childhood grandmother. Reverting back to Nutrition 101, I knew we needed to start eating breakfast to keep the carb-monster away. The issue is that my husband and I aren't "morning people". I am lucky if I am wearing pants within the first 45 minutes of being awake. I should not be trusted with anything that needs assembly or fire/cooking because the result would probably require response from emergency services. I can't tell you how many times I have poured the wrong fluid into the wrong food, (orange juice laced cereal is zesty!) With all of the other tasks I struggle to accomplish in the morning, it is just better if I don't add anything else that requires thought. Enter slim-fast with almond milk. Slim-fast gives the protein that my body is missing in the evening and the almond milk (unsweetened vanilla) makes it taste more like a chocolate shake than a meal replacement. The thing I love about it the most is that it takes literally 14 seconds to make it and I can do it the night before. All I have to do is grab it out of the fridge and throw it in my purse. I drink it on the way to work and there is no extra effort wasted. The taste has improved a lot in the years since I have started drinking it. I bought a few kid sized Nalgene bottles Nalgene Kids OTF Bottle (Gray Bottle/Square Design/Blue Lid, 12-Ounce) and do all of the prep and assembly the night before. In years past, the canned Slim-fast would give people “bowel urgency”. Unfortunately, that is why my poor husband would not drink Slim-fast for the longest time. I gave him a can to take one day when we first started dating. He drank it while he was prepping his aircraft and….well, he had to excuse himself for a little while. That was due to an ingredient that they had to use in the pre-packaged shakes. This shake mix has none of that so don’t worry about having digestive distress! It has been perfect solution for those late night carb cravings as well as being low enough in fat and calories that it could be used for a late-night snack if someone wanted.
