  • Excellent product
Style: 16oz (473 mL) bottle - Bicycle
I had a lot of problems with the sealing liquid for the tires (tubeless) of my MTB, until I found this product, very effective, it is enough for 4 tires.

  • Have used this in the past and never got a flat.
Style: 16oz (473 mL) bottle - Bicycle
I've used Slime in previous bike tires with tubes, and they've saved me from several punctures. (well, still got punctures, just didn't lose air.) I've also used their inner tubes that come with Slime inside, and they worked well. (no flats, so....) This time applying this was pretty difficult, having to remove valve stems and then somehow squeeze in the correct amount of slime per tire. The problem is that there's no clear strip on the bottle to judge amounts. Though I noticed there are some bump like things on the bottle where I could gauge the halfway mark, and if you old bottle up to the light, you can get an estimate of how much is left. It didn't help matters trying to get the clear filler tube out from under the adhesive label. I'm not sure how youre supposed to do this, as the label will not peel off easily. So I got out a little pocket knife and slit the label next to the tube to try to remove it. Got the valve removed, got the tube onto the stem, which was very difficult since you flatten the tires first, and the valve stem pushes into the rim when you try to push the tube onto it. Having to try to hold the valve stem while pushing the tube on is pretty difficult. But I got it on, went to squeeze the stiff bottle that's NOT made for squeezing, and .... Slime poured out of the side of the bottle all over my hands. Yep, I'd accidently put a tiny slit in the bottle while trying to cut the label and get the tube out. Nice. Had to struggle a lot getting the stuff in while holding a rag over the slit. A big mess. And it took several complete squeezes just to get a quarter of a bottle into the tire. Was doing the rear tire and another big squirt of this stuff came out and all over rim and tire. This stuff isn't fun to clean up. ha. But at long last, I got roughly a quarter bottle in both tires as per instructions, and got valves back in and rode a bit to distribute the stuff. I go on faith that this will save me from flats, as I've had luck with it in the past. Lesson: Be very careful if you resort to cutting the label to get the fill tube off the bottle. Could be improved with clear panel with measuring marks on bottle. Making the bottle not to stiff that even if you squeeze it as much as possible, it only squeezes out a small amount, making it necessary to remove the entire tube and bottle, get air back into the bottle, and repeat several times just to get a 1/4 bottle into a tire. ... show more

  • What a mess! Cap loose on arrival
Style: 1 Gallon (3.78 Litre ) bottle
i use this product to keep from having flats on my fat tire bicycles. It arrived with a loose cap. Fortunately, it was in a plastic bag. Still, it was a mess to clean. and I probably lost about a quarter of the product. There is a pump and long hose attached to the container. The hose will hold about an ounce (30cc) in the hose itself. Because the hose is large for the valvestem, it must be clamped or it will come off and dump Slime everywhere. About an ounce is wasted every time you use the product. I want to use the product, not try to figure stuff out. So, it earns three stars. Amazon replaced the emptied gallon. The lid was sealed usefully. I use this in my Fat-Tire tubes because I live in an outling area and bike tires easily suffer punctures. It is a bright green color, dissolves in water, and has fibers and other semisilids in suspension. I use about 20 oz. in a Fat Tire bike tube. If a tire leaks, the bright green is easy to see. I have had holes in a tube as long as 1/2 inch. This stuff almost completely plugged the hole. I was able to ride to the house. I have not tried some of the other more expensive fixes. So, until 'solid' tires come out this works for me. Because the dispenser fails on first use and the lid is not properly tightened, so it leaks in transport, I give it a 4 stars. ... show more

  • Very pleased with the results
Style: 16oz (473 mL) bottle - Bicycle
Rear tire on my mountain bike was flat. I was dreading having to change the inner tube as it's a fairly complicated job (at least for me) given the complexity of the gears which have to be removed. I was told by a friend to try Slime, which I promptly purchased and couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Followed the instructions precisely, added air and was very happy that indeed the tire stayed inflated even after a rather long test ride. Indeed, that was two months and 4-5 rides ago and the tire has remained perfectly inflated. I'll never be without a bottle of this from now on! ... show more

  • I LOVE SLIME
Style: 8oz (237 mL) 6 pack - Bicycle
This stuff actually works! As an avid, every-day bicyclist, I ride everywhere & would end up with flats about once a week! After purchasing slime bicycle tubes & slime puncture repair sealant, I have had no flats. Both tubes & sealant are supposed to keep tires from puncturing for 2 years. I'll have to wait & see on that. Fast shipping, great packaging. ... show more
