The reader on the door successfully read the card while in my wallet. I tried various card slots/positions in the wallet ... they all failed to provide RFID protection. Had this wallet for the last 7 months and I will say for the price it has lasted quite a bit longer than I anticipated. The pockets and I mean ALL the pockets started to come undone, where the adhesive was holding most of the panels together has come apart and cards are starting to go into parts of the wallet that didn't exist 2 months ago. I will give the product 3 Stars because it was comfortable and held everything like I wanted from the get go, however since it is only $12, you get what you pay for and it has lasted 7 months. I could easily just as well give this a 4 since there isn't a 3.5 star option. I've used the BASS and DOPP versions of this style wallet for almost 10 years and couldn't find one online when I bought this. It's not bad at all. Very strong, and seemingly well made. I'm assuming it will become a bit less stiff with use. The price drop made it very reasonable. However - the money compartment is sealed on both sides (unlike Dopps) which makes carrying more than a few bills very difficult to access. Dopp has an opening on one end of the wallet and an expansion/accordion-like closing on the other, allowing you to shove almost anything in there within reason and let you get out just a bill or two. For the record I'm not returning it and will use it - but will definitely go back to the Dopp when this wears out. ... show more

I've had this wallet less than 6 months - the glue that holds it together is leaking into the card slots, which causes the cards to stick and get coated in the tacky glue. Would have expected this to last at least a year. The wallet itself externally is in perfect condition, but spending almost 5 minutes to get a card out, and now having to gently wash all my cards with soap and water is very discouraging. Update. Wallet started to tear and the card pockets on the side now come through in the other side pocket. Was a nice wallet but didn't last long. ***** Had this wallet a couple of weeks now. I have tried several slim wallets over the past few years and many seem to have limitations or flaws due to space limitations, cards bending and breaking in wallet or quality issues with the material . I have not yet found any complaints with this wallet. It has adequate storage and yet still isn't bulky in my pocket. It is a little bigger that other wallets (height and width) but still thin and effective. No problems getting cards out of any of the pocket either (which is a problem I have faced with many other slim wallets. Overall a great wallet. ... show more

I got the Cork Fabric wallet about 7 months ago, and so far it's holding up great. I love how thin it is, and holds everything I need - ID, credit cards, a little cash (I don't really carry cash, but it's nice to have some sometimes). Just some tiny dimensional changes would make it perfect, I think the money area doesn't need to be so wide, at least for US currency. And I wish the credit card slots on the 3-card side was a tiny bit wider so it was easier to get the cards in and out when all three cards are there. Finally, a few times I've noticed a little residue on cards when taken out, and something might be scratching cards a little, so some better finish on the inside of the pockets would be nice. But it's a problem I've noticed on many wallets, I'm really just nitpicking. The wallet is indeed very slim as the product description indicates and photos hint at - I was just a little surprised at how difficult it is for me to use. The wallet hosts my primary card and drivers license on one side, a debit card and a couple of store loyalty cards on the other. I don’t typically carry more than a few bills for cash; there are top-access side pockets on either side of the center cash area behind the slots for credit cards, and the only contents in each are my dental insurance card (very slim, flat plastic) and my health insurance card (just printed on paper better than printer quality but not as heavy as card stock or construction paper). I described the contents of my wallet because just that much is difficult to manage for anyone with a less than perfect grip and decent finger strength, and if you try to carry anything more than this - I tried to put $200 in 20s into it, another time I tried to fit a couple extra cards - you will have trouble getting it in and even more getting anything back out. The best way to access anything from the center top-load sections is to squeeze the ends of the wallet to widen the pocket mouths. Cards, however, are tightly packed and held quite firmly in place with about 8mm / 1/4” exposed, so you will need to grip tightly with your fingertips to pull cards out. The pressure can be slightly alleviated by squeezing vertically to relax the openings of the card slots, but don’t compress too far because the slots are a snug vertical fit and will press in on the edges of the card you are attempting to remove. The price was low and I’m treating it as a mechanism to limit my personal spending (“Is it worth the struggle to get my card out?”), but I would not recommend this to anyone with more than a couple of cards or a person who deals in cash. It’s especially challenging if you have any manual dexterity or strength issues with your hands or fingers. ... show more
