These are lovely, graceful bulbs. They are fairy-light so won't weigh down the most delicate of trees. They come with the ribbon already threaded (thank goodness). They are much larger than I imagined, the size of a large aavocado. They are plastic, not glass, so nearly cat proof.

I love the ornaments themselves. The reason for the durability getting 1 star is that each set had 2 damaged ornaments. They had been pushed together and had quarter size holes in them. We still are using them, but better packaging (the set was in a flimsy, clear plastic container) would have alleviated the issue. Love them. Used them to decorate a 9 foot tree at our VFW post. Members and visitors said it was the best tree we have had. Funny, since it is the same tree we have been using for 15+ years...…. Would highly recommend them for any Patriotic Occasion.

THE TOPS OF THE BALLS THAT ARE NAVY BLUE WITH STARS, THERE ARE MANY THAT SHOW, PATCHES OF RED THROUGH THE BLUE? THESE BALLS APPEAR TO BE ALL RED, THEN FACTORY PAINTED/GLITTERED/STAMPED ON TOP THAT WENT WRONG? IF HAND PAINTED WHICH I DOUBT, NOT WELL DONE? AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY ON TOP OF THEM, THEY ARE O.K. FROM A DISTANCE. I PLAN TO USE THEM FOR JULY 4TH & MAYBE XMAS ALSO.
