I kept Sunbeam fleece sheets on our bed year round. When they no longer made them and my current sheets needed to go. I was on the search for a replacement. Which led me to try Sleep Philosophy True North. These are far superior to the old Sunbeam fleece I am replacing and I thought nothing could beat how much I loved Sunbeam fleece.. True North are so soft and cozy. They are also very thick. The top sheet is almost a blanket weight. Which I love since our winters get quite cold and we like to sleep in a cool room. After sleeping on them a while and a few washes later I quickly bought a second set. They have washed up really well. They do not leave the dryer full of lint. There was some pilling at the foot of the sheets when I took them off to wash the first time, but I simply ran a lint roller over the fitted sheet before removing it to wash. I will be buying more sets for all the beds in the house as needed. Fingers crossed these sheets will be available for years to come. ... show more

I live in Alaska, where heating is expensive. Our house stays around 64 degrees in the winter. I am cold-natured, so I have been sleeping with flannel sheets and a couple of blankets. Then these sheets came into my life. OMG - so soft, so warm, so cozy! I've slept with them for two weeks, and have reduced my blanket count by 50%. They washed up beautifully - I was expecting tons of fluff in the dryer lint screen, but even brand new it was like a normal load of wash. They are generously cut, so no struggling to get the last corner over the edge of the mattress. If sheets could be better than perfect, these would qualify. Six stars! Update: I should note that my mattress is 12 inches deep. These sheets could easily fit a deeper one. ... show more

I love them because they are the most wonderful sheets to sleep in -- warm, soft, cozy -- but I hate them (okay, I'm highly irritated!) because of all the fuzz balls they transfer. They are not bad with polyester, but cotton ... the fuzz balls cling wonderfully well. Maybe if I'd gotten a different color of sheets (though I love the cream color -- it was just what I wanted with my bedding) it wouldn't be as obvious. They do not fill the drier lint trap -- that remains surprisingly clear; but you can see on the drier balls how much collects! So, I gave them four stars because they are everything I wanted for sleeping, and took away one star because the fuzz balls never let up! ... show more

I was really excited to find these fleece sheets on Amazon. And after reading the high reviews, I thought I really struck gold, but I was sadly disappointed. First off I just got the sheets and put them in the washer for the first time as you can see, with the picture attached to this review, several places throughout the fitted sheet and on the pillowcases are thread bare like it shows, and this is after only one wash, so I can only imagine what they will like like after several. Secondly, it had so much of the little pills, especially on the fitted sheet that I almost went through an entire lint roller just to get them off, plus I was pulling stuff off with my fingers. I’ve never had this happen with fleece sheets before and I washed and dried exactly as stated on the tag so I know it wasn’t from anything that I did during that process. It’s just upsetting because the sheets are not cheap. I know that I could send them back but I don’t want to deal with the hassle to return. I just know I definitely will not be buying from this company again. I really don’t see what all the high reviews were for. Maybe I just got a bad set I’m not really sure I just know I will not be spending this kind of money to go for a second try. So buy at your own risk. On the plus side I did absolutely love the color. And was excited to buy more in some of the other colors. The quality is just super poor in my opinion especially for the price. ... show more
