I recently bought a few different eye masks trying to find a good one. Most eye masks don’t fit, fall apart easily or the elastic stretches and makes the mask useless. I was pleased when I received this mask to find that not only did it have an adjustable strap but it was good durable elastic. Now before I get to how well it blocks out light I feel it is only fair to say that I am photophobic in other words I am very sensitive to light. Taking that into consideration it does block almost all light, but I can sometimes see a very small amount of light around the nose. However by making a small adjustment to the position of the mask it does block out all the light. The mask is also very comfortable. Not only is the material soft but it doesn’t get hot like a lot of other masks do. The mask is contoured so it doesn’t put pressure on your eyes, and when I get migraines this is helpful. I work nights, and it's very difficult to get good sleep during the daylight hours. If any amount of light hits my face, I'm jolted awake. So sleep masks are really important for me, and I've been through dozens of different brands and styles trying to find one that will completely block the light while not smashing down my long lashes. This is it! Snug adjustable fit, and soft, cushioned eye cups to prevent skin stretching around eyes. And the best part is the deep eye cups -- so deep that you can open your eyes completely with your eyelashes touching the fabric. This helps in multiple ways: when you open your eyes, all you see is darkness, so it gives the illusion of nighttime; it serves to keep the fabric from touching your eyes and prevents buildup of bacteria on the cup; and if you have long, natural lashes, it prevents them from being smashed, bent, or torn out by catching in the fabric. A very comfortable eye-mask for sleeping when it's too bright. The only issue is that it can get a bit warm on already warm nights, but that is to be expected for any sort of mask that doesn't have some form of active cooling in it.

They're soft, they really keep the pressure out of the eyes which makes it easier to sleep compared to other ones. Great black out and very comfortable but it slides off very easily while sleeping. The fabric makes it slippery and it just slides around. First night using it I thought I lost it but I found it on the ground in the morning. Second night I found it in the bed. Now I just know it’ll be off before I wake up. Kinda sucks but hey. This sleep mask is great, and I would not hesitate to buy another or to give it to my best friends as gifts! My long eyelashes don't hit the mask on the inside, which is amazing. The only light that ever gets under it, is a tiny bit around the nose and that's because noses aren't all shaped the same, and I fidget a lot even while I sleep. If I adjust it well, though, and can lay relatively still, nothing gets through. Blocks out the e-reader light next to you in bed, night-lights, light coming in from the next room, dusk and dawn, and even full-on daylight -- which means it's great any time you get one of those headaches that make you light sensitive and you want to lay down until the aspirin starts to work. It's great for travel too -- you know how light tends to stream in under hotel doors or around the blackout curtains when they don't quite line up right? Or when the person in the window seat wants the flap open but you badly need a nap? Not a problem when you've got one of these stuffed in your carry-on. I had an old freebee from delta that just covered the eyes but not 100 percent. these eyemasks are perfect its a blackout . while i bought them for one trip I use them every night now. They are very easy to clean just dish soap and warm water and air dry. They fit perfect and are sculptured to so your eye lashes are not touching. I recommend them 100 percent ... show more
