My initial plan was to get a budget gaming PC. While I was looking, I came across this gaming PC from Skytech. It was more expensive than I planned on paying for, but it was at an amazing price for what this computer has in it. I did a lot of research on the computer as well as this company since I've never really heard of them. After reading a lot of positive things about them, I decided to get it. Skytech claims that they use high quality brand name components. That is true as every part in this computer is from a well-known manufacturer. One thing you want to keep in mind is that they don't use a specific brand for every computer they build. For example, while some will have an ASUS graphics card, another one will have a Zotac brand graphics card. There is no difference to how this card performs since they are both Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti. So even though the brands may be different, the specs and performance should be the same. If you happen to be loyal to a brand and only want parts from them, this might not be what you are looking for. When it arrived, I was very impressed with the packaging. Not only it was well protected outside, but they used special protection for the internals that kept them all well in place for shipping. There isn't much as far as instructions go. It did include a keyboard and mouse, which wasn't expected. They perform decent and there are better keyboards out there, but I still appreciate the fact that they did include them with the desktop. Setup was easy and quick. When everything was updated, it was ready to go! It runs quiet and does a great job of keeping cool! So here is the hard part. Who would I recommend this PC to? I honestly feel that this is perfect for someone looking for a mid-range PC that wants good productivity but great at gaming.     • Extremely quiet, very fast, well put together.

Ordered on a Friday, received it on Sunday. Packaging was very sturdy. Came in a dust cover as well. Got it all out and opened up to remove the packing material. checked seating of the GPU, no issues. All connections were made and still intact. System worked just fine right out of the box. But, I bought 4 sticks of 32 GB ram and replace the 16GB to bring it up to 128. Got a 4TB M.2 SSD to replace the existing 1TB, used some cloning software to make it a system drive (one I started it up and finished activation and registration etc.). Transferred a 10TB HD from my old system. Installation was a breeze. computer came with cables for SATA connections and power. It was very easy to plug in SATA cable and route thru the existing port to the back side where the HDD mounting is. Power supply is in the same area as the HDD, so it was simple to plug in and route. did all that and booted it up. Started up quickly and perfectly Windows did some updates. Activation was simple as I had existing digital product key. It seemed that it tried to activate using the key provided (baked into the system apparently) so I emailed Skytech and they explained what I need to do. Just choose troubleshoot and then choose "I recently upgraded this computer" or whatever it says. It allows you to update to your existing license. If you don't have that, I am not sure what you need to do if it does not activate. After all this I am very satisfied with how well this system performs. Incredibly impressive machine for the price, construction is flawless, visually appealing, works with almost no setup beyond plug in monitor, peripheral and power cables. Perhaps the best machine available for the price, bar none.

    • Do not recommend! My desktop worked for a few hours and then crashed and won't load anymore.

Ordered a new desktop for Black Friday. Came a couple days later than originally claimed, but that's OK and expected around this busy holiday season. It came with extra keyboard and mouse, but no quick-start instructions like another reviewer said (even though it had a sheet saying to read the quick-start instructions). Found them online. Was very excited to use it. It seemed to load very quickly and I was able to download Valorant and start playing in under an hour. Played fine for an hour on the first day, but on the second day the computer screen froze after an hour of gaming (in the middle of a game). I had to turn off the computer and after turning back on, it no longer loads Windows! It just gets stuck in the system BIOS screen. After some internet searching, it looks like the SSD is not being recognized since BIOS says there's no bootable devices. Tried to follow a provided flowchart that came with the desktop on simple debugging techniques (like suggested actions of unplugging cords, re-inserting RAM, SSD, etc.) but none of this changed anything. This has been so frustrating! It's been about 3-4 hours of debugging since it crashed and nothing has worked. Left a message for customer support and waiting to hear back if they have any suggestions to fix this (they are not available outside of normal business hours). If no luck, I plan to return this. Will provide an update. Overall, even if it gets fixed, I *do not* recommend this to anyone else - it's not worth the headache of trying to fix and this company clearly has quality assurance issues. For me, the whole point of buying a pre-built was to avoid this kind of debugging! ... show more

    • Great PC and build quality

PC came packaged extremely well with graphic card support foam installed around GPU with self contained packing spray foam around the inside components. I got this pc on special for 1400 USD which was a very good deal for a 4070ti and i7 12700f. My few notes are as follows: This is my second PC from this company, I would like to see better motherboards. I would have paid 100 USD more for a feature rich board. The ones that currently ship are basically bottom barrel boards, I would like to see better boards in the future. 32 GB of ram is very doable, once again I would happily pay 30 USD more for this update. Their overall build quality is extremely good, this is in my opinion the best PC prebuilt manufacture you can go with, all their PC are fully user serviceable which make them last much longer than say a omen or HP. I will absolutely be getting my next pc from them, hopefully with some improvements to board quality and RAM ... show more
