  • Amazing - actually works!
I was skeptical since we've tried everything to clean our grout, but this stuff really works! In the past we've tried the normal sprays, brushes, and even attachments for the cordless drill. None of that really worked as it was clear that our grout was just stained. This stuff was pretty easy to use and really cleaned the grout much more than we expected. You use it by applying a thin bead on the grout lines. It seems to be a gel-like bleach, so it stays in the grout lines pretty well. And you wait about 4-5 hours before washing it off. Pro-tip, the tip of the tube twists. I didn't realize that at first so I cut my first tub like a tub of caulk and it was quite messy. Anyway, we tested this on a small 6" strip of our grout and washed it off 5 hours later and were quite surprised at how clean it appeared! So we did the rest of the shower the next day. I have to say the grout looked almost new after applying this and rinsing it, but there are a few cons. For the cons: rinsing it was a bit of a pain. Since it's like a gel, it took a while to rinse off. I preemptively purchased a handheld shower want and I'm so glad I did. Because I don't see how you would rinse this stuff off without one - so I highly recommend getting one. Even with that it still took a while to wash it all out. Also, another con (or pro, depending on how you look at it), is it seems to also have eaten away at some of the caulk around the shower. That ended up being ideal, because our caulk was also pretty old and dirty and in need of replacing. So since it starting peeling up, I ended up buying a scraper and completely removing the caulk too and re-caulking the shower. So while I said this was a "con", it actually made it easier to get the caulk up and now we not only have clean grout, but also fresh caulk. One thing I noticed after cleaning the grout is that we had a few "pits" in the grout lines. I'm not sure if this was due to the cleaner gel or if it's just from neglect / previous scrubbing of the grout. But I found some easy DIY grout replacement at the hardware story so I could clean up those few areas. All in all - this stuff was totally worth it! That said, what I expected to be a clean and rinse situation turned into much more work for me to fix some grout and caulking throughout the entire shower. But it very much worth the few hours of work that I put into it. ... show more

  • Works great!
Works as described to remove mold from silicon around the bathtub! I applied it as directed and it completely removed the mold after 5 hours. The directions tell you to use in a well ventilated area, the smell of bleach was strong, but I only needed to crack the window a bit. I still have plenty left in case the problem pops up again. Suggest you buy if you have mold around your tub or shower. ... show more

  • It works!
I tried this on our bathtub that has old moldy grout. I left it on for about 7 hours before rinsing. It definitely removed a lot of the mold, but will probably need another application before it’s 100% clean. It works better than any other product I’ve tried.

  • Made our grout look like new with low effort
I only wish I had taken a before photo, because this stain remover performed miracles in our bathroom. We have tried numerous other methods to get rid of horrible mildew stains in the grout around our bathtub, with little to no avail. Goo Gone, the Pink Stuff, and other treatments have slightly faded it but it still looked horrendous. I was embarrased when family came to stay for a weekend visit and they had to see the bathtub. However, this stuff worked like a charm--my husband put it on, let it sit for 8 hours, and even halfway through that was already an obvious and significant improvement. By the end of the 8 hours, the stains were entirely gone, and the grout and caulking looked no worse for wear. While there was a smell, we opened the window and vented the air out by running the fan and it was not particularly noticeable within an hour of washing it all off. 10/10 would recommend for stubborn stains; I wish I'd known about this sooner and will definitely buy again if the issue recurs. ... show more

  • Just as advertised. Easy to use with great results
This product was so easy to use and the results were as advertised. The product is a gel so it was easy to apply and stay where I wanted it. ( This had been my complaint with previous product that it was liquid and went every where). I followed the directions, left it for 7 hours and rinsed well with the caulk now white. It did take the entire tube to do the perimeter of our shower which was a standard size tube. Will buy again if I need it. ... show more

  • Didn't work FOR US
We were honestly NOT expecting it to work, but we thought we would try one last thing. We bought our house two years ago and the tile in the master bathroom was not done properly. It's a 20 year old house and the grout has been cracking for a while. We have stripped the caulk and recaulked it several times to remove the mold. At this point we are certain that the builder didn't use backer board, or that there is just so much mold behind the tile nothing short of a full remodel is going to get rid of the mold. And that is fine. They also used the wrong type of grout for showers, it's too porous and the tile is hideous. It was probably very much in style at the time, but it's very outdated now. ... show more

  • It works great!
I wish I had taken before pictures! This stuff worked great on some mold spots on the caulk in my shower. I had tried other products, but nothing else worked. I thought I was going to have to put new caulk in my shower, but found out about this stuff and thought I'd try this as a last ditch effort. I'm so glad I did! You have to make sure the area is completely dry before you apply the gel. Make sure to wear rubber or nitrile gloves when applying and removing it. Squeeze the gel on the moldy areas and let it sit overnight (at least 6 hours). Make sure you have plenty of ventilation because it has a strong smell. In the morning I wiped off the gel with paper towels and then rinsed down the shower well. All the mold was gone! ... show more
