  • Fantastic for kids carrying skis
Color: Blue Frost
My kids can ski so I don’t need the leash and all that. This backpack is a savior because they are 6 and 7 but carrying their skis is tough for them (and our resort is a long trek even if you get good parking). I refuse to carry their skis, especially as I often go alone with them and 3 sets of skis isn’t an easy carry. This backpack winches tight and holds everything in place. plus, I can put their lunches inside and they are set for the day. The bag is great quality. This company doesn’t skimp on the quality or the straps. The straps are super long so there is lots of room for growth for my little ones. It’s durable and we’ll stitched. The ONLY reason I knocked a star down is because I couldn’t know half a star. There is one side strap to tighten the width of the backpack and there should be another one on the other side. Without it, the skis can’t get as tight to the body and they wobble around a bit (knocking the helmet). The last bonus is that my kids’ friends think they are super cool. Thanks for the mom bonus points. This is seriously going to be my gift for every ski kid in our area who has a winter birthday. A couple requests would be 1. We don’t need the leash so it would be nice to sell a leash-less version (a bit cheaper). 2. Maybe make one that is in between this size and the adult one that you have. When my kids get a bit bigger, they still won’t fit that adult one and mini pack will just look silly on a 10 year old. ... show more

  • Bought for my grandson
Color: Blue Frost
After working my whole life with skiers of all ages from beginners to alpine racers, more than 40 years, I broke down and bought this training set for my just turned 4 year old grandson. We used it for the first time this week after 5 days of lessons at the local mountain. He left in tears or out of boredom on all but one day when we stayed and played on our own. He was doing nice straight glides but no “pizzas” to slow him down. The harness was awesome when we finally tried it! I was able to control his speed and discovered that he could turn like a pro when I gave him some slack in the leashes! He’ll be off of it as soon!! The harness and pack come with clear, simple instructions. I always thought these harnesses made the child sit on the tails of their skis rendering them harder to turn. But when fitted properly the tug is at the child’s hips and helps the child into a more athletic stance…just where a skier should be for maximum steering ability! As a semi retired professional ski instructor as well as alpine race coach and official, I highly recommend this product to help your toddler maximize his fun and yours!! ... show more

  • Excellent for training newbies
Color: Pink Snowflake
I am CSIA level 1 instructor in the US. Harnesses have long been controversial, not widely used for lessons. With the growing popularity amongst parents, I have noticed this brand on the slopes and decided to utilize it for my younger classes for basic support. This has been hands down the best design in terms of flexibility and proper control. Multiple points of adjustability allows me to regulate the harness according to the toddlers height creating a snug fit that helps in isolating the hips. For parents this tool is essential, BUT not to be overused, as soon as you see progress and confidence use your best judgment and remove the straps. Keep the harness on, but if you see regression, clip them back for a short while. ... show more

  • Surprisingly good quality and feature set
Color: Blue Frost
Pleasantly surprised by the build quality and materials. The backpack that comes with this harness is a plus as it can store the straps when not in use as well as a few other items, as well as specific holders for skis and helmet on the exterior. It looks far more modern and versatile than most of the harnesses I see people on the slopes with. The solid handles on the leashes and the backpack for lifting the kids are reassuring and easy to grasp with gloves. The backpack is easily adjustable and seems comfortable. The only other consideration I would give would be to consider the style of hooks that attach your poles to the back of the kids skis. These allow you to guide your kids' turns and don't pull the kid backwards like a harness so have some real advantages for teaching kids to ski. However, the harness style has more versatility as it gives a secure way to lift your child on/off chair lifts and when your kid is more or less skiing on his own, a single harness leash becomes just a simple safety line when needed. ... show more

  • Great training aid for kids!
Color: Blue Frost
The media could not be loaded. Love this harness backpack for our 5 year old! Best parts are the option to use 1 or 2 straps, the adjustable/bungee straps that have some give to them, and having an actual backpack. First and 2nd time out we used 2 straps, 3rd and 4th time used 1 just to hold him back, after that he didn't want to be held at all! Still use it for the handle to help the kiddo up onto the chairlift and to hold snacks, but this could not have worked any better! ... show more

  • Wise investment in your family fun
Color: Blue Frost
First impression is that the pack looks really cute and stylish, once you figure out all the straps!😆 But THANK GOODNESS for all those straps, because the function of the pack is to keep your little ones close, but also make them feel independent...if that makes any sense. We have only taken it for one test run, so far, but this pack was perfect. My child is at that age where they are starting to feel insecure about their 'security blanket', which in our case is a stuffed 🦘 kangaroo. Being able to take Roo with them, without anybody else seeing, was a BIG DEAL. The pack is just the right size to keep Roo safe inside while we practiced. Plus a few other little toys for extra protection! I wasn't able to navigate practice and take photos at the same time, but I noticed that there were a few customer photos up already, if you want to compare the size. I think it's just perfect for a 6 to 9 year old, but it really can be used for younger and even older kids. I gave it a 4 star for the moment, as I haven't had it long enough to say how well it's going to hold up in the long run, but so far, worth the expense for sure. ... show more

  • Great for helping kiddos to ski
Color: Pink Snowflake
The media could not be loaded. This backpack made teaching my daughter (4) so much easier! In fact, we bought another one for my other daughter (2). We love the backpack version! I was able to put the straps in the backpack when waiting to get to the top of the hill.
