These are the easiest belts to use. I always keep three sets. One for daily home use one for the office and one as a backup. I never have to make holes. They are well built and look beautiful. Awesome easy to use bellts for everyday use and cost effective prices.

This is not my first "notch" type belt but it is certainly the easiest to operate. Previous belts of this style were unpredictably difficult to open. This one works right every time with the primary problem being muscle memory... you have to remember that you're wearing a different style belt when you go to loosen it. I never completely disengage the belt buckle unless I'm removing the belt. It is slightly more difficult to redo than a normal pin through the hole style belt. A perfect fit is easy with just a snip of some good scissors and the small increment in adjustments makes it a VERY comfortable belt to wear. The only caveat that I have with this belt is that the actual leather content is miminal. Most of the belt seams to be a series of laminated materials that vary from a thin skim of leather to pvc to fabric. These belts are not life time belts but neither are the solid leather Bostroms that I have been wearing and they are much more expensive. I have several ratcheting belts, and this is hands-down my favorite. It actually feels the most premium, despite being the cheapest of the ones I own. Its buckle is thinner than the kind that have the lifting second metal frame to release. As a result, it's much more comfortable and doesn't pinch any slight beer gut that might rest on it when seated. The ratcheting seems slightly quieter than others I own, yet somehow feels more of a rock solid lockup. Finally, in a great design, several of the metal components flex and pivot leading to a very comfortable wearing experience. I literally can't recommend this belt enough, and when you realize how affordable it is (around $19 at the time of this review) compared to similar belts, this is an amazing value! Solid 5 stars, and I think it would be worth every penny even at around $25-30. ... show more

This is a great belt so far, I've only had it a few weeks now but it's held up nicely. It looks like any other nice leather belt but is supposed to be made from non animal products. The sizing of this belt is a great feature. You can clip the belt down from the very long length that it comes, this can be done easily with scissors. The place you are supposed to cut it is labeled on the inside of the belt. The section that is cut by scissors is then hidden from view by the buckle which clips right over the cut section. The belt when worn is sized by this clever ratchet mechanism which is a much better system than the standard belt buckle holes, it allows you to get a custom, individual fit every time you wear it. The ratchet allows you to size it seemingly down to about half centimeter increments. It is also so far a very secure mechanism and just looks like a regular belt buckle when worn. ... show more

I really like this belt, the way it works is a great idea. One size fits all as you have to cut it to size ( adding a couple inches for hardware), but that was not problem. The cut end hooks into the belt hardware. Loop it in like a regular belt but you have to put it through metal fitting (easypeasy). You pull and can adjust it to fit where it feels comfortable. No more having to fit between holes in the belt. YOu get an exact fit. To take it off just press a small lever and it releases. I have had too many belts where the belt holes were either to big or to smallfor my waist. ... show more

Provides the most optimum fit possible and looks really nice. I gave as gifts to several people and they also loved them. We will have to see how they hold up over time.
