I went to the doctors for age spots and he told me to use this cream for 3 months and see if I am happy with the results. Then if I am not I can get them laser off. So far I have been using this cream twice a day for almost 2 months now and I am happy with the results. I still have a month to go. There is still marks from the age spots, but they are so much lighter now. I also wear a sunscreen when I go outside. I try not to go in the sun.The doctor told me this bottle should last me about 3 months and the cream also prevents new spots from coming out. I plan on using it less to just maintain my face. Overall, it seems like this will take time and several uses to see the full effect. I have a bit of redness around my eyes and nostrils and it significantly decreased those within just a few uses. Which gives this product a 10/10 in my book. It has not, however, evened out the few dark spots that I have (those which I put just a tiny second layer of this cream). It seems as though perhaps this isn’t a one-does-it-all kind of product which the listing seems to make you want to believe. I do absolutely love this product, and the scent is very faint and fades quickly. Absorbs very well, even in conjunction with other serums. I can’t say if this is moisturizing, necessarily, since I haven’t used it without my moisturizer. I’m intrigued to see if it will eventually help tackle the dark spots, but so far they haven’t lightened up at all which leads me to believe there may be a better product for those specifically. ... show more

    • Helped reduce redness and even out skin tone
My wife has a skin thing that requires a laser treatment to reduce the redness but is nervous to take the treatment because it requires a lot of extra steps and precautions when it comes to sun exposure and more. We’ve been testing other alternatives and this one is a winner in the things she’s looking for in a skin treatment. The smell isn’t to overpowering and besides from the high price it’s a great buy. More effective than a lot of products priced in this range though. Just have a hard time wrapping my head around all these skin products that run upwards of $100 ... show more

    • Weird film on skin
I have been using this brightening cream for a few weeks now. I haven't seen any significant effect on my dark spots yet but I also have usually only been using it once a day because it leaves a weird filmy feeling on my skin. It almost feels a little greasy but the weird thing is my skin also feels dry with it. It's hard to explain exactly. This is definitely not a moisturizing brightening cream and you will need to use a moisturizer with it to avoid drying out your skin. I will say, I have sensitive skin and I have had no irritation from using this cream. I am just not sure how well it really works and it feels weird on my face. I purchased this product and as recommended performed an allergic test and found my skin got tacky, red and itchy so i had to return the product. I returned the product to ups and amazon verified that i returned the exact same product i got and then they sent it to the seller. However I got multiple emails saying seller denied refunding me because it’s not the same product. Ive lost my 200$ on this stupid product and amazon has refused to help me ... show more

The SkinMedica Even & Correct Serum comes in a sealed tube with instructions on the back of the bottle for guidance. The serum is partially clear and the scent is mild and fades after application. I use this serum daily and love how it makes my face feel. I believe the serum is expensive for the amount of solution you receive but it does a great job. ... show more

SkinMedica Even & Correct Advanced Brightening Treatment Face Serum is very pricey. It makes claims about evening the color of the complexion, getting rid of dark spots, and it also claims to assist in reducing fine lines. The cost is fairly prohibitive on this serum. I tried it to see if it would make much of a difference on my fine lines and the slight dark sun spots on my face. I haven't noticed much of a difference. However, I suspect that I need to use it more regularly; I haven't been using it very long yet. It doesn't irritate my skin at all--no tingling or burning. Despite using it for several weeks and not seeing much of a change, I am going to keep using it, however. I have heard of SkinMedica and know that the company has a good reputation, which makes me likely to use it until I see definitive results (or not). ... show more
