I ordered these in both a size 8, which is what I wear most of the time, and a size 7 1/2. Size 8 was too big/too long. Size 7 1/2 fit but was too tight across the instep. I do have high arches. I wanted them to fit so badly!!

I went to study abroad in the U.K. and seen Kate Middleton wearing Superga white sneakers, or plimsolls, as they say in England. I thought they were so cute, so I bought some. They are the most uncomfortable sneakers I’ve ever worn. I really loved how they looked, but couldn’t take the pain. When I seen these, I was attracted to the style as it resembles the Superga sneakers. But here’s the difference, these are so comfortable! You feel like you’re walking on air and marshmallows. That’s the best way to describe the feeling. So what’s the verdict here? America has way better fashion and our shoes are so much more comfortable than across the pond. USA! USA! USA! These shoes are very nice looking. I have just received them and haven't had a chance to try them out for any length of time but the inside feels a bit rough and not like Skechers other types of shoes that are soft inside. They are also a bit stiff. I am hoping that they will soften and become more limber as I wear them, but if not, I will have to wear a slipper sock that doesn't show. Most shoes come in a medium and my foot is a double slim so I will put a memory foam insole inside and purchase longer laces that tie so that I can make them fit. I always have to do this, so it's really no problem and it protects the insole that is made into the shoe. They are cute with fringe on the sides and I would recommend them to others interested in this type of shoe. The reason for 4 stars is the rather rough inside. This is now my go-to travel shoes. I first wore it on my vacation to Curacao and it was the perfect shoes for walking tour of Willemstad. I didn't get the chance to break them in before travelling but turns out I didn't need to. They are comfortable and doesn't rub the back of my foot which usually happens with shoes of this style. I recently change from flip flops w arch support to bobs sketchers. My biggest disappointment is they don’t have them in yellow, green, dark pink, or red. As this is now my footwear of choice. And I have a pair for almost every color on outfits. The dark pink ones I did see where very expensive at 75 to 80 a pair . That’s ridiculous knowing that this light white shoes don’t last very long however, they are helping my feet without going to the heavy tennis shoes. My feet feel better and my doctor is trying to talk me into arch support. However my feet are very fuss w any shoe, so the trial and error turn be off. I feel these are comfortable for me and definitely help me stay out of the podiatrist office for another shot in the foot. I still have to but much less. ... show more

I have a slender foot and wear a 9.5. These are true to size and are super comfortable (especially with the memory foam soles). I already had a pair in the all black that I wear often and have had for a year or so now. They have held up wonderfully. I expect these will be just as great! Only reason I took off one star was because the white shoe laces that come with them are super long in comparison to the navy blue ones. In order to obtain the same look as the blue, I had to resect a very large section from the white laces. I hid the area where I reattached the lace together underneath/behind one of the eyes so it’s not visible from the front. Super cute and comfy all around! ... show more
