However the all knowing Amazon, will not allow me to order the size I want which would be a 12 extra wide instead they insist that I get a 13 extra wide which is what they sent me and it's too damn big. I like the design of this shoe. It has good padding under my feet and the design of the sole actually helps me to walk. The sides are built to give support and to let your feet breathe. They run true to size and loosen up a bit after some usage. Skechers are quality products! Billy Ray

I had bought some ultra cheap oxford style canvas shoes. The size was about double my foot size and the quality seemed low. I returned and spent $30 more to get these. First off, these look great. Stylish and matches well with jeans, which I wear 90% of the time. They also slip on and off easily without untying. The first few days they dug into my ankle slightly. That problem disappeared after a week and now I find them comfortable. I walk everyday on pavement, gravel, dirt and sand to a beach 1/4 mile from my house with my dogs. I am usually a Nike snob and spend $100 every year or two. I decided I needed to spend less money. So for about $60 total I got these. They look as nice as Nike's. I can say if they will last as long. They have a little less traction on a wet wooden porch than Nike's but otherwise traction is good. ... show more

For the past 12 yrs I have only worn sketchers due to having a bad back. After 5 back surgeries in the span of a couple of yrs starting a few yrs ago and a fully fused back, it’s pretty much all I can wear. These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve had and I knew it from the first step after putting them on . I am not concerned about quality as I’ve never had an issue with quality from this maker before. I put them on the moment they arrived , wore them for the next 7 hrs and when I laid down for bed I already noticed a difference in my pain level. Best decision I’ve made for shoes. The shoes fit great and are comfortable and stylish the only problem with them they don’t last very long, 4 to 6 months. I am pretty hard on shoes but that is not right.
