This is good shoes. They are comfortable, fit perfectly for Men's size 9.5 with plenty of room in the toe box. It's also very stable but not hard like the other trail shoes I have. Since I got the mid-top version, it protects my ankle as well and overall I felt very secured on my feet. Due to the water repellent nature of the material used, it's very easy to clean. I just use a wet rag and wipe down the trail dusts and the shoes are like new again. The grip is excellent on down slopes. Haven't worn the shoes in the rain just yet but when rainy season comes I will be wearing this to run errands and go to the gym with it, then I should know how good this shoes is for rainy season. I don't feel like spending $150+ for other big names brands with gore-tex, I'm sure they are probably even better than simply water repellent featured on this shoes, but hey I'm in So Cal and we don't rains as much. ... show more

... as a matter of fact, my last pair of Nike tennis shoes wore thru the sole now, and are about 10 years old. My wife insisted we replace them. We went to the local shoe place and I found this brand to be very comfortable and bought a pair with red speckles in the sole, which I found interesting, although a little flashy for my taste. My wife couldn't wait to dispose of my old stand bys. After a few outings with these shoes, I found that it seemed as if I was walking on a cloud, so I was interested in finding another pair without making a special trip. I discovered there are several styles/colors of soles and found this sole with upper combo to be more appealing to me for about 20% less than at the brick and mortar. Now I have an every day pair as well as a more "formal" pair, and they both kind of feel like I am floating when I walk. I would recommend trying on Skechers in the store before purchasing online. I normally buy 10 1/2 shoe. Could have gotten away with a 10. Got these on a try before you buy but forgot to return before deadline so that’s on me. I recently got into trail walking. Don’t care for the boots so these worked really good. No ankle support because it’s a shoe but as far as foot support the insole is wonderful. No tired feet. I decided to give these the ultimate test(for me) by hiking to the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles from the Bronson Cave area(the “BatCave from the 60’s Batman Tv show). I’m flat footed as a person can get and these shoes performed wonderfully. No tired feet at all. The ascent went great. The descent was challenging but left little impact on my feet. As a person who lives in an area with zero incline in the landscape, they made this trek very tolerable and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend these. ... show more

We walk a lot, and as my husband got older, he started having super painful foot issues. He has purchased shoe inserts, foot pads, everything on the market to get more cushion/comfort so we can continue hiking/walking, and nothing was working. He decided to try Skechers shoes in X-Wide...in his regular size. What a DIFFERENCE. We just bought this shoe and he LOVES them!!! Super comfortable, roomy and he feels like he's walking on a pillow (ok...probably a slight exaggeration) when we are hiking. He tried 4 pairs of the "Try before you buy" and these were IT!!!     • Does fit wide feet
I've only tried them on once but they do actually fit. I have very wide feet and often have to order shoes half a size too big. I ordred my actual shoe size, 9 EEEE (Extra Wide) and they are very comfortable. Now I have to wait and see how they hold up to yard work which is what I bought these for.
