In fairness, this shoe seems well made and looks smart. So I'm likely deducting one star due to my own mistake, which is that every 4-5 years, I try another manufacturer beside Footjoy. The issue with the shoes is their fit. I'm size 13 wide, but that's less rare than it used to be, look around at kids these days. I walk when playing golf and these shoes are just too narrow, frankly not really a 'wide' size, at least as it pertains to me. So if you're someone who's used Sketchers before and find them a good fit, this shoe should make you happy. In my case however, they are not a true fit, and hence only get used for 9 hole practice rounds as that's all the walking I can do in them. ... show more

I have been buying Skechers for comfort. They look great too. I have wide feet and these are best for me. The last pair of afterburn were durable and comfy with no complaints. Good variety of styles.

I have a wide foot and it is so hard to find a shoe that fits comfortably. Even with shoes labeled as wide, they just don't all fit that great. These are very comfortable. The insoles are good and seem to be holding up very well.

I'm a 330lb power lifter and these have GREAT support and comfort. I've only gotten them a few days ago, but have been wearing them often since. The are probably the best athletic shoes I've ever owned and that's comparing to some specialty (fricking expensive) big men's running/walking shoes (New Balance, Brooks, Asics, etc). ... show more

I have a wide foot, and these fit perfectly in terms of width. But there’s hardly any padding, the sole feels like a thick slab of rubber, and there’s no flex. The shoes say they are “sport“ but I don’t know what sort of sport people would do in these. Maybe hiking, or probably clogging. If you’re looking for something comfortable to go walking, look elsewhere. Sketchers offers multiple types of shoes that often get grouped together on Amazon, so I am specifically reviewing the all black model. ... show more
