I bought these to keep the skunks that live in nearby drainage tunnels out of my flowerbeds. They are solid and hold up well. And they look very class, an important feature as well. The price is right too. A few tips for putting these together: You have to screw the legs into the bottom of the fence. The threads are fine and can be hard to get started. I've been putting a little white grease on each thread to make the easier to assemble, and also to keep water out. If your soil is hard, don't try tapping these in with a hammer or other tool. The welds on the decorations are fragile and break easy. Make the holes first with a piece of rebar and a hammer, then put the fence in. ... show more

We have 3 large Labradors that think stealing the heads off the low flow sprinklers and picking their own veggies is fun. I don’t find that amusing but I did not want a large fence that would obstruct the view. This fence is low enough to make me happy and high enough that the dogs can’t “step” over the fence. I had to add a few J rebar stakes to keep them from leaning on the fence and some plastic spike mats to discourage jumping over the fence. I bought 3 sets of these. They look perfect around a planter on my patio where I have miniature roses planted. The welding on one of my broke when I was pushing it in the ground, so use caution when installing them.

I bought these because they were so pricey at the Home Improvement store ($7.48 for 1). I bought a 10 & a 19 pack and I am going to order another 19 pack. The legs screw in so you don't have to worry about them coming off (I wish my night light legs were like this) and they are super strong. I also like that if they become dull next season I can easily spray paint them black and none will be the wiser. I used the ties to hold them together because the snaps were a bit difficult, but the snaps would probably look better.
