Description

Scar Audio engineered the RP-75. 4ABM marine amplifier to set a new standard in marine grade amplifier performance. This four-channel marine amplifier is 2-ohm stable and utilizes a wide array premium internal components, such as its high speed MOSFET power supply as well as an advanced marine grade PCB board layout. Conservatively rated at 500 watts RMS power (125 watts x 4 channels), this amplifier will bring the speakers on your boat to life with unrivaled power output and sound clarity. The RP-75. 4ABM is extremely versatile as well with its compact physical design, which allows it to fit in a variety of tight or small locations on your boat. Also present on one side of the amplifier is a built-in user control panel that is fully adjustable - allowing you to dial in your sound exactly how you want it. Featuring adjustable controls for gain, high pass filter, low pass filter, a crossover switch, and more, you'll have full control over your listening experience. In addition to all the above features, this model also features four-way protection circuitry, which will give the user the peace of mind knowing they are protected against damage to the amplifier for various reasons - including electrical shortage, overheating, low voltage, and more. Our marine amplifiers feature a special marine coating internally that allow them to withstand the harshest conditions for long lasting use.

In a pinch I decided to give this Amp a try. Figured even if it took two per season it was still cheaper than buying my 5th JL Audio Amp. This thing cranks out the power. Sounds great. No issues. Based on how well this Amp had done, ordering the mono amp to power a 12” subwoofer. In the middle of the lake shore can hear us loud and clear. If I had any complaint, it sucks everyone is complaing about how loud we are now :) ... show more

I read the reviews and decided to give this upcoming Brand a try. I know they’ve been around but I’ve been a JL, Alpine and JBL fan. I replaced an amp that I had for 6 years in my boat. I was surprised to hear the same quality coming from this amp. I will be giving their speakers a try now.

I am a novice and installed this myself. It took a few hours and am very happy with the results. I am running 4 Skar 6.5’s off of the amp and they are so loud and clear. Love the system. I did find it a bit cumbersome dealing with the connections because it has tiny screws that you need to tight and loosen with an Allen wrench. This was my first install of an amp and I think if I had to do it again it would about half the time to install. So loud!! ... show more

I was a bit suspect of the quality given the reasonable cost. I installed this as a replacement on my boat driving 4 3-way 6” full range speakers on two channels and a 10” sub bridged on the other two. The crossover adjustment is very straightforward and I had the system dialed in quickly. Power is smooth with no distortion at high volume and sound quality is strong. Highly recommend. ... show more

Bought this amp, little over a month later it keeps going into protect mode constantly, after going through skars recommendations to re set it, it would still stay in reset mode. Contacted them directly, he said ship it in and they would take a look at it, 5 days later it’s back on my front porch, no emails, calls or anything telling me what they’ve done, and on top of that, it came back with every corner bent, it’s scratched to crap and dinged up. It was sent in good condition and to come back like this is awful and still to not be told what they “tested” or fixed. I’ve contacted them again and will update this if they chose to fix the issue.
