I ran the numbers at some point and, per gram of protein, this item is one of the better deals in terms of cost. It tastes great (mostly...), and mixes fine in my protein shaker. My issue with this item is that it is way too sweet. It tastes good, but it is almost sickeningly sweet. I had to add extra water to dilute it, but then some of the flavor gets weaker too. The best use for these (in my opinion) is overnight oats, or other protein powder recipes. Making over night oats with these helped lower the sweetness just enough to not be unbearable. I think the oatmeal helps absorb the sugars and sweeteners. ... show more

Started looking to supplement protein in my son and my diets. Protein powder is gone up in price over the years and it's hard to find a decent deal. Also can be pretty difficult to find something that taste worth a darn. I can tell you straight up this is one of the better tasting options out there. I’ll start by saying that I do like this brand of protein powder. The other flavors I’ve had have all tasted great. They mix well with little clump left behind. I was excited to try this flavor but man, it really tastes like you’re chugging pepto bismol. Using milk instead of water helps a bit giving it more of its milkshake name quality but plain water is a chore to get down. A good protein but I do feel like they missed the mark on this one.
