This item looks much more clean and upscale that some of the other items I see for sale. Very good chrome and pretty heavy duty. UPDATE: 10/1/2014- I purchased another one of these and this time I covered the lettering and team logo with clear finger nail polish. I HIGHLY recommend you do this to keep them from losing paint or falling off. I noticed with the first one I purchased after several washes a little bit of the paint had come off of the lettering area and a few months later one of the helmet logos had come off. The Clear fingernail polish holds it in place and forms a seal. ... show more

Only reason I mention is, I have a college frame with exact same looking raised letters & logo and on that one, the paint faded/wore off in under a year. This 49ers license plate frame looks great on my 2014 obsidian blue Honda Accord Sport. It matches very well with the chrome accents on my car as well as the red lettering matching the red taillights.
