The description says that there are no gaps for babies/toddlers to fall between your mattress and the rail which I do not agree with. I’m grateful because my child won’t fall out of the bed, but it’s not perfect. 3 of these suckers were expensive and they are constantly breaking. I mean like the first few days. We bought Velcro strips to secure it. The worst is having to get up in the middle of the night especially if your kid is a light sleeper. The rails are loud when they come down. I also had to get a stool to climb out of our bed so I don’t bend the metal. It’s a crappy product, but serves its purpose. ... show more

The product is quite well built and fits well with the frame of a queen bed. However, the assembly requires considerable effort and time. May not be suitable with all frames. Depending on the bed and mattress, there might be some gap between the mattress and edges that might need to be filled with pillows or towels to prevent toddler feet from sliding through and getting stuck. My dog wasn't allowed to jump for 6+ weeks after his knee surgery and I could not crate him. So these prevented him from jumping up or down from the bed so I could actually sleep with ease! I don't think I screwed them to the bed properly, so it wasn't as secure as it would be (it is a little tough to do by yourself and moving the mattress enough to get to it when doing all sides). So it's a little hard to assemble and install, but I don't know how they could have made it easier. The sides slide up and down with ease as well, but don't fall down when you don't want them to. I had cats who jumped on them a LOT and it didn't collapse them or move them at all! ... show more

I originally order 3 to put around my kings size bed which work but I wanted it to be a little sturdier. So I order a fourth one to connect all of the sides together. It works prefect for my fast crawler. I also want to mention the customer service from this company was absolutely great!! One of the railing was missing a cap to connect one corner. They respond very quickly and sent me the part immediately. I would definitely recommend this product especially from this company just because of the customer service. ... show more

Purchased this for my injured pup that could not use the ramp while healing from surgery. Works excellent for this intended use. Not sure if I would trust it for a toddler, but if installed properly it is pretty sturdy.
