I've had various K-Cup coffee makers over the years. This one is replacing a Mr Coffee that I've been using for about about 8 years now. This has a smaller footprint than my old machine, even with the frother attached. I don't put any cream in my coffee, so I won't use the frother at all, but my wife likes that part of it. I like having the flexibility of using either K-Cups or grinding my own beans up for some fresher coffee. The best part of this particular machine is how quick it is. My other machines would take a few minutes to heat up the water prior to brewing. This one is nearly instant. Click the brew type, set the size, a few seconds later it's brewing. The thing I've found with these sorts of machines is many of them do not last long. And that will be the determining factor for this machine. So far, so good. If it goes out quickly, like a few of the machines I've had over the years, I'll update my review. But in the meantime, I really like this one. ... show more

    • Two methods of coffee brewing and a complete milk frother: winning combination
I ordered this AIKAMI Single Serve Coffee Maker w/Milk Frother 6to14oz, for my personal use, intrigued by the dual coffee brewing methods, capsule and ground. Both methods work and give me a nice cup of coffee. It is not an espresso machine, but I can extract strong coffee with little water, and get close to it. My wife loves the milk frother that produces Cappuccino, Latte, Unheated, and Hot milk. I prepared a Cappuccino for her and it was an instant hit. It is very simple to put together, and very simple to use. Every piece clicks or falls in place and has nice features like a completely removable lid for the tank of water, so your filling container doesn’t have to fight an ever closing lid; the containers for the capsule and the coffee filter, the fit, and the ease to place and extract; the connection to the milk frother and the options that lit on cycling the on button; the height adjustable drip tray so you don’t end up with minute drippings all over the place; and the cup sizes (6, 8, 10, 12, or 14 oz) that even if you overfill, it will release the selected volume.     • The best customizable coffee maker
The coffee maker is great. I really like that it has a really cool sizing method when choosing how much coffee you want. You can pour up to 14oz of water in the coffee maker and then just pick how much you want with the switch in the side. I found myself using this system a lot and can’t live without it now. I also like the milk frother, although I do want to say that is somewhat hard to clean. All in all I really like the coffee maker.     • Great replacement for the old Keurig
The coffee maker came packaged in retail store type packaging. It was well protected and arrived in good condition. Not much of a milk frother kind of coffee drinker so I have not used that function. What I do like is the adjustable height drip tray. I can take shorter cups up to the spout to keep things cleaner, with no splatter. I am also pleased to see a better selection of cup sizes from a single serve coffee machine. With Keurig I only had 6/8/10 ounce brew options. To do my 14 ounce cup, I would have to brew another 6 and over flow it or use a second cup and then top off the first -or- worse yet, just water the coffee down with tap. I was always doing an extra brew and pouring some away. Very pleased with my new coffee maker. Much more convenient. Now if just lasts longer than 12months it will have a genuine Keurig beat in all ways. ... show more

I love the versality of this coffee maker. It offers two separate cups (k-cup or fresh ground coffee), which is awesome because sometimes I like my coffee stronger than k-cup instant coffee options. It heats quickly and efficiently. I'm not much of a dairy drinker so I use the frother for almond milk and it turned out perfectly frothed. This is a nice feature only found on higher end (and more expensive) Keurig models. The only downside to this product is the water reservoir. It is small, which means frequent refills.     • A great option for coffee one cup at a time. Milk frothing is effortless.
I was curious about K-cup coffeemakers as a way to try a variety of coffee without buying a lot at one time. I didn't like the expense of K-cups if you used them all the time and the waste created by the cups, so I was happy to see that this coffeemaker offers the option to use your own ground coffee in a reusable pod. I usually drink only one cup of coffee a day, so this machine was a good choice for me. It makes only regular strength coffee that you can mix with frothed milk to make various drinks. The lack of an espresso option was fine with me because if I drink espresso it's always diluted with water or milk. Brewing coffee and frothing milk is pretty much effortless. All it requires is filling coffee or loading a pod, pouring water and milk into their containers, then pressing buttons. I recommend this coffeemaker. ... show more

    • Very impressive coffee maker
I have owned Keurigs and other single cup makers for years but I have never had one that could froth or heat milk as well. I am very impressed with this machine. I originally ordered it to put in my office at work, but my husband, who rarely drinks coffee but enjoys his with frothed milk, wanted to put this one in the RV and let me take the smaller single cup maker we had in there to the office. I love that it has an adjustable height for the cup. It means I can make a travel mug size or a regular coffee cup and not have to worry about splashed drips ending up on the counter or on the machine itself. It is easy to fill with water and reinsert the tank. It has very few buttons on it so it is easy to use and doesn't need complicated directions.
