I'm 5'6", 230 lbs, long waisted, short legged, straight-shaped waist (think rectangle) with michelin-man style fat rolls. Not "smooth round fat." Despite my size, I am still extremely active, a parent of a toddler, and am on the go. I like being stylish, but not at the cost of my comfort. I like functional style. I don't want to be pulling, tugging, adjusting my clothes throughout the day, and I don't want to be an uncomfortable temperature. My spouse and I attend MANY airshows in summers and these will be awesome at keeping the sun off my legs (still use sunblock as these are NOT UPF rated), without weighing me down, all while keeping me cool as well. These are officially becoming a major part of my closet. I specificially bought these to test for summers, and for a trip to Reno, Nevada in September. I prefer to only pack carry on, even if staying for more than a few days. I like to have versatile clothing that is lightweight layers for my carry on bag. I have shorter legs for my height, as I'm Asian. I live in Seattle (cool, humid, wet), so I needed pants that would give me good sun protection coverage, but not feel heavy, thick, tight, or hot in Nevada weather (hot, dry, desert). As soon as I tried them on, I was delighted! I get nervous for pleated front pants because they usually emphasize my stomach, but these fit wonderfully and the bow helps disguise it. I am usually a size 18/XL, but because my stomach shows a lot. Simce these are pleated fronts, I sized up knowing I might need to hem them 1-2 inches. These fit great in the waist, I have no doubt they'll be perfect for air travel, easy to pack, and perfect for the weather and cooler temp resort, and easily wear casually or dressy. Perfect for vacation! Usually plus sized clothing is thick and heavy, but I'm happily impressed with how lightweight all of the material is. The waistband is flatteringly wide, doesnt cut into the skin, stretchy, and the ties helped with keeping them from being too loose. For those with a larger stomach, I recommend sizing up to hide a protruding belly, but know your leg length and be prepared for it. If you do not have a larger stomach, order your normal size so they won't be too large in the waist. I am so happy with how flattering these are. It makes me want to buy more crop tops. The legs also have light stretch. These will make the airport travel super easy, be comfortable moving, stretching, bending, walking, sitting, and eating with no discomfort. One caveat, they have slant pockets. We all know slant pockets cannot hold anything, which is annoying, so I'd prefer if they zipped or snapped closed. Or, GIVE US REAL POCKETS. Not enough to take off any stars, because they tell you ahead of time it has slant pockets. Come on fashion world, we want pockets! If you're a plus sized person, needing versatile, lightweight, good for hot weather but cooler buildings, and comfortable style, I highly recommend these! I absolutely love these pants. I saw an Instagram influencer wearing them and I desperately needed some fresh looks for a conference I have coming up and these are perfect. It's professional, flowly, almost looks like a skirt actually. Really cute. At 5'2 and just under 160lbs a medium was the perfect fit all around. I like that this item looks like a skirt but is not. The pants are a perfect addition to any wardrobe for home or vacation. They can be easily dressed up or down depending on the type of top, shoes or jewelry you wear with them.

I had been looking at this item for a while. Read all the reviews and was comfortable ordering a size small. I'm 5', 110 lbs. It fit perfectly out of the package. I washed it, according to the care instructions, in cold water. Without putting it in the dryer, I put it against me, and it shrunk 4" in length! It shrank all the way around! I hung it to dry. If I'd known how much it would shrink, I would've ordered a medium. It doesn't look the same without the volume of fabric it had prior to washing. I like the way it flows around the leg as I walk. Hope it doesn’t get static cling during the warmer, dryer months. Classy look with little effort. Needs a tighter, form fitting top to even out the silhouette. Anything loose will make it look frumpy. Can add boots for cooler weather or a cute sandal when it heats up. Love these pants for work. I am a teacher and need nice close that allow me to move easily and stay warm in my cold school. These pants are made of a nice material and are comfortable. The pant style keep me warm inside but cooler when I go outside with the flowing lighter material. They also are easy to move around my classroom and kneel down to kids hight.
