I had the giant 40oz that was a pain to carry around outside the house. I had the 20oz with a straw attached to the lid which was a pain to clean and sometimes I didn’t want the straw. This product was the compromise of both. It is large enough to prevent constantly needing a refill, while fitting in my car drink holders. I have the option of a straw when I’m in my automatic, but I can change it to the flip lid when I’m in a manual so the straw isn’t in the way when I need to shift gears. I only drink water in mine regardless, and it keeps it cold for the day. It doesn’t keep ice for days like some tumblers but it is perfect for my daily hydration needs. My partner even bought himself one because he liked it too. It’s great for the price and I’ve definitely dropped it several times - no dents or busted lids yet. It spills a little with the straw but definitely a lot less than I expected and the lid stays securely on the cup! The color is still all intact, no chipping like I’ve experienced with other tumblers. I use mine 49oz for travel days and it is fantastic. I will buy more of these soon. I filled mine with 50-70% ice & Arnold Palmer at 8am then left for the day. I used big ice cubes from my automatic ice maker. I was driving on a sunny day with temperatures in the 70-80s. I left the drink in the car, in the heat and sun during my stops. At 5:30pm it still had 40-50% ice after drinking my tea. I stopped at a QT and added most of a 32 oz Gatorade to it. At 8pm, when I got home, my drink was still ice cold. The next morning at 8am there ess still ice in the cup and the drink was cold. I had to throw out a good chunk of ice to clean it. Cleaning it by hand was a breeze. The colors are beautiful, and the powder coating appears to hold up well. I wasn’t being careful with it as i got it in and out of the car, cup-holder etc. the top works well too. ... show more

I hate drinking water. I have tried many different strategies to trick myself into drinking enough to be hydrated day in and day out. My sister sent me this product and so I tried yet another method. It is unbelievable how fast water disappears! I go through so much water every day now. The feel when you're holding this item feels top quality. It's not too big to where you don't want to reach for it, but not too small as to not contain enough water. It's the right size. Since I started using this I've bought it for three other people. Any time someone says they have trouble drinking water, I send them this item and they are never the same. The color options are great. Bought this to replace an Rtic mug that took a bad fall. It’s been great at keeping my drinks either hot or cold and I love that it comes with the separate straw lid. As a bonus. I don’t have to worry about the rubber gasket of my previous mug and the screw on lid is super secure -so there aren’t any mishaps with it not being fully pushed on like other travel mugs. I absolutely love all of the simple modern cups! I ordered the 16 oz for my children to have in the house. They do not leak at all! My husband found one of the cups sideways and completely filled with water. There was no water on the carpet whatsoever. The cups keep ice for such a long time and drinks very cold as well. Now the problem I have with Amazon and shipping these cups is that sometimes they ship it in a box and everything comes out fine. This is an excellent cup. I have had coffee from the morning still be warm in the evening, and though I have not timed it, ice lasts for many hours as well. I have knocked the cup over and only a small amount spilled through the straw- none from the seal around it. I use stainless steel straws when drinking coffee, and the hot beverage lid works well with those. The cup is very slightly textured on the exterior; I find it is just enough to provide grip without causing sensory discomfort. There are negative reviews saying that water accumulates around the straw opening leading to mold/bacterial growth; I think people aren't realizing that the whole silicone center piece of the straw lid is removable. See the pictures above. The silicone seal rings on the inside of each lid are removable as well, also shown in the pictures. Every part of this cup can be cleaned. ... show more

Let me start out by saying I have tried many different cups that are in the lower price range compared to the big name brand ones. Well this cup has it all! It's tall to hold a lot more fluids but thin enough to be able to hold it. (I have small hands). I have left my ice water in the cup during the night (I live in south florida in a home with no central ac only window units) and I have woken up the next day to my drink still being icy cold! I really like this cup. It does everything a more expensive cup does. However, if it tips over it does not leak. Which is a huge plus for me! I also really like that it comes with a coffee cup lid and extra straws. I think it's definitely worth the money.
