I bought this for the screw on top. So glad. My number one cup to go to to keep ice all day. I am clumsy and have dropped it a few times with minimal damage and the only leaky part was the straw. This is my 2nd cup. I have the 40 oz and love that it fits in my car cup holder. It seals and water does not leak out except out of the straw unless it's turned over. So it's best to get a straw cap. I've never used it hot, but I have given them as gifts and they have told me that the liquid stays hot over night. As for the cold part I put ice in it in the morning it still has ice in it the next morning. I love that you have so many colors too choose from. And best of all the PRICE!!! This tumbler is amazing! I wanted to try something with a handle, but can't get behind the stanley hype and price. Enter Simple Modern! I have the classic tumbler, wine tumbler, and can coozie by SM and love them, they all are quality. The Trek is very lightweight for the size, beautiful olive green color for fall, keeps my cold drinks cold and my hot drinks hot! Love that 40 ounces is easily carried and the wider straw makes it easy to meet daily water needs. The quarter turn lid is a nice touch, it can get the straw positioned for left or right handed drinking. Their customer service it also great, I had a past tumbler where the lid broke off inside the cup and they were quick to send a replacement. I love this cup. I have multiple cups from simple modern. It keeps ice in it for days and water is always cold. It's not leak proof if you drop it or flip it upside down. I bought the Simple Modern 40 oz Tumbler and have been using it for a while now, so here’s my take on it. I got it because I wanted a big, reliable tumbler to keep my drinks cold or hot for long periods, and this one had great reviews. First off, this tumbler does an amazing job at keeping my water cold all day. I fill it with ice in the morning, and there’s still ice left in the evening. It's equally impressive with hot drinks; my coffee stays hot for hours. The double-wall insulation really works as advertised. The tumbler comes with a handle, which is a nice touch for carrying it around easily. It's sturdy and comfortable to hold, even when it's full. The lid has a snug fit, and there’s a straw option which I use all the time. It’s great for sipping water throughout the day without having to unscrew the lid every time. One thing I noticed is that the tumbler is pretty large, so it doesn’t fit in my car’s cup holder, which is a bit of a downside. But it’s not a deal-breaker for me because I mostly use it at home or work. That's why it's not getting five stars :-) The design is sleek and comes in various colors, which I love. I went with a matte finish, and it looks really stylish. Plus, the exterior doesn’t sweat, so there’s no mess on my desk or in my bag. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It does exactly what I need it to do: keep my drinks at the right temperature for a long time.
