Lots of ties here for different uses. I appreciate that some are white, some black so they can be less or more obvious for uses as desired. I use them to secure cables, cords, and wires that are too long, but also to act as a reusable track for cords. By fastening longer ones that have been closed into a big loop along my garage stair rail, I can run an appliance extension cord to my freezer which is not convenient to an outlet, and keep the cord safely out of the way. I do the same with my very long outdoor extension cord that I want to use sometimes in the garage (and not trip over) but also want to move outdoors for electrical tools. I don't want the cord permanently fixed in place in the garage and by using these looped ties the cord can be strung through them or removed as needed. I also use loops other places to secure things that can be hung on them. Just this Labor Day weekend my grandchildren and friends came to camp out in the pasture. I wanted to hang a lantern on the gate so if anyone needed to come in during the night they could spot the gate easily. Problem was that although the lantern had a hook, the hook was not big enough to fit over the fence board. I put a looped tie around a board and hung the lantern hook on that. Worked well and can be reused in the future if needed. Another use that pleases me greatly is securing items onto my garden tractor to carry with me when I'm mowing. I make large loops with the long ties through a couple of the hood's cooling slots and slide tool handles through them. A couple of loops on my walker allow me to hang things on it as needed. Same with the headrest in the car. Because there are so many ties in this set, I can attach something semi-permanently, then cut the tie to release it, and use another should that need arise again. If I've separated a set of measuring cups or spoons and want to put them back together, or maybe just some of them, that works too. I use them in the garden as well to hold up my tomato cages and other supports that are stressed as the plants get big and heavy. The twist ties that come with beetle traps don't last an hour if the bag is getting blown around in the wind. One of these ties does the trick much better. I purchased these because I need longer zips for different projects. Nice range of ties. The only feature I didn’t like was the longer ties do not get wider giving it more strength and durability.

This cheap product is terrible. The plastic of this zip ties is very cheap. 1 in 5 of this zip ties works fine, the other 4 breaks every time you tight them. It is extremely frustrating!
