I love these dresses, but this pattern apparently only looks good with a certain placement, and the one I got did not have it. I like to get these one size bigger because it gives me more length and the drawstring snugs it back up. I am 5’9”, 132 lbs, and I size up to medium.

This dress is basically your favorite softest, stretchy t-shirt, with a waistband and pockets. The top of the dress is roomy enough to accommodate my chest (D-cup) AND allow the waistband to stay at the waist instead of riding up and turning the dress into an unflattering (for me) empire style. Helped keep me a little cooler and comfortable in 100+ degree temps. This is a darling dress. It fit as expected. 5'2" 110 lbs ordered a small. My only complaint was the fabric I selected. Stripes look so cute on the model, but when I wore the striped one I purchased, the back of the dress never lined up correctly. Not the manufacture, just the way it fit.
