I am a woman with BIG feet. I mean men's 12 feet. All the socks I usually find come in cute and colorful OR fits MY feet. This is the first time in my adult life I think I ever got to have PINK socks! I will be buying more of these. I'd been in the hospital a few times last winter and found I love "hospital socks" I looked and looked and they came in so many colors unless you had big feet then it was black or navy blue. Then I found these. So many say up to 12, these people really mean it! I will be buying more pairs. I love these people. Expensive but worth it! More colors please! And I'm not quite "afraid to fall" old yet, but the no slip surface makes me feel stable on hard floors. A+++++++ ... show more

    • Nice socks - very soft !!! But do take important safety note- they can produce static (for those on oxygen).

These socks feel soft and I have not found any quality issues (holes, tears, etc. as others have posted). They haven't been used for very long so I will post if anything happens good or bad. One thing you should note is that these are made of 100% polyester so an IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTION is that I would NOT RECOMMEND IF SOMEONE IS ON OXYGEN because per oxygen safety guidelines "Do not use bedding or clothes made of wool, nylon or synthetic fabrics as these materials have the tendency to produce static electricity. The use of cotton material bedding and clothes will avoid sparks from static electricity" (from NY State - Home Oxygen Fire Safety). What prompted me to post this is when taking the socks off it did produce static but thankfully the oxygen concentrator was not on. So please be careful and know all safety precautions (there are a number them to be aware of in addition to static-producing fabrics) if you are on oxygen. ... show more

Review for Silverts uni-size 6 pack of black/blue/grey hospital socks. I'm being explicit because based on the range of the reviews I saw for this product, I couldn't believe they were all for the same thing. Silverts has their name in the grippers on the bottom, so you'll know if you are getting the real thing. These are the weight of the cozy bed socks/slippers that women can buy during the winter, which does mean there are some fuzz balls, but nothing excessive. They were quite warm - too warm as we get into summer. The gripper material is substantial (and a bit noisy on wood floors). No indication that it will come off despite repeated washing. The standard size was a bit small for my husband's 9EEE diabetic feet. I had to snip out some of the elastic around the cuff so it wouldn't dig in as much and had to stretch to widen the feet. ... show more

The evidence of how I rate these socks is that I'm about to make my 4th purchase of them over 4 years time. Why do I buy them again and again? Because I like having extra socks and these are my 1st choice! They may cost a little more than some others but they're well worth it. They are super comfortable and soft. I feel very sure-footed and secure when walking with them on. Others I've bought really wear out fast and the first thing to go is the non skid property. Another reviewer wrote not to put them in the dryer; he's absolutely right. Doing so will warp the non skid soles and destroy the elasticity throughout. I bought one of those wooden, collapsible indoor clothes drying racks specifically for these socks. I love them and will continue purchasing them! ... show more
