So I bought three- one for my son and one for two of his friends for their birthdays. My sons smells so good even after weeks of playing with it. Both his friends got stinky ones . I guess their smells have not let up either

This is just like the old fashioned silly putty. To me there wasn’t much of a smell to it. You get a large enough amount to play with but not too much that it is overbearing. Be careful not to leave it in the sun or a hot car, it will melt.

This was really disgusting. I didn’t realize it was ‘scented’ and thought I was getting plain silly putty. The smell was horrendous. I threw it away immediately after opening it. Would definitely not recommend.

I bought two for my son hoping I would get a variety and they were both different nasty smelling ones. It's not even a good idea to make stinky ones because they keep stinking (unlike the nasty jelly beans that you can spit out and end the experience) and my son normally loves silly putty but refused to play with them. I would never buy these again and gamble on getting a good one. Buy these only for people you dislike or as a joke, don't buy if you enjoy silly putty or as a serious gift. ... show more

My son loves to have mystery scented silly putty. We've had some in the past and thought I would get him some more for his Christmas stocking. He got the watermelon scent. He was very happy. I'm very pleased with the quality of the egg. It's strong and it has clips that keeps it together better.
