I don't understand why its handwash only with a line/lie flat to dry. I machine washed it, tumble dried on low heat, it and it was a little wrinkle, but not too bad, and it made it way softer. It can be very sheer if you get it in white, I noticed a spot on it after I washed it and used some water to get what ever it was off and the fabric practically turned clear LOL ... show more

I ordered the white and although it fits nicely it is just so wrinkly --- I washed it and it came out one big wrinkle --- I will iron it and hopefully it looks half decent. I also ordered the striped shirt and that washed beautifully. I still had to iron the shirt but it came out so nice -- but the white is just totally different. The photo and web description states this is 100% cotton shirt. The photo looks like 100% cotton or cotton linen blend. Based on description & photo one expects the shirt to be cotton or cotton linen blend; soft and supple. The shirt is anything but. It is a stiff scratchy polyester and I found it uncomfortable and unwearable. The color is very nice. It feels more like the polyester fishing shirts yet slightly stiff and scratchy. it’s hard to find items that are 100% cotton now - i like that’s breathable. i got the green and was hoping it would be more olive in person but it’s pretty true to the color. the fit is oversized and a bit boxy - i sized up to a medium because i wanted a looser fit but the small was recommended and i think i would’ve been ok with the small and it would’ve been less roomy. ... show more
