Adding this wrap to my ring "erases" the scratches and smudges from my ring and it looks new again! There is no real noticeable bulk added to the ring but it does protect it from additional wear. So why not 5 stars? I may be overly critical and contradictory here: the silicon is thin so I've gotten small holes in it from use. Yes, it's thin and not bulky, but you give a little on protection. After placing it around my smart ring and putting it on my finger, I immediately felt the smoothness. In addition, I noticed that the silicone cover didn't alter my ring size. As far as knowing whether or not this cover would affect the accuracy of the "data" or if it would iritate my skin, it's too early to make such comments.
