I purchased this to go on the blank wall in my bathroom. Mural is of a fabric-like material, similar to wallpaper, and appears to be very durable. Adhesive is already on the back, just peel the backing paper and stick! I already had a 4" felt squeegee for vinyl wrap applications, so used this to carefully smooth out the bubbles per the directions. You'll also need a utility knife (and, I suggest, a new sharp blade) to trim the mural at the wall edges. The directions provided with the product apply primarily to only the first panel (all the panels are numbered in order). In my case, this mural is sky on the top third, so I found that I had to peel the back off down to a distinct feature on the mural to be able to line it up correctly with the same feature on the preceding panel, then work left to right to seal it against the wall, going both up and down. If you don't get it laid right the first time, you can easily pull it off the wall and then try again until you get it right. I've never done anything like this before and it took me most of the afternoon working alone to complete installation. It takes time to line up the panels correctly and smooth the panels against the wall, so take your time. You don't want to be looking at that misaligned bit later when it can't be changed! It looks great and now, when I step out of the shower, I see the beach! Excellent product! ... show more

With a little patience and a brush, I was able to install with little problem. The material is forgiving enough to allow you lift it repeatedly to remove bubbles or line up the panels, but still sturdy enough not to stretch (and create problems) and without losing the stickiness of the material. After completion, seems well attached to the wall, but it also seems like it will come up (without damaging the wall) if I need to remove. Really impressed. Great company as well. I would highly recommend this product. See photos. Update: I've now had it up for a year. Still looks great. No issues. Stays on the wall. First off, this mural is so beautiful!! I’m totally in love. It was fairly easy to put on but some of the sections didn’t quite add up so we lined with the gold mountain as it was the most noticeable. It has a very good stick to it too. Gorgeous wallpaper made my laundry room look spectacular-see pics. Would have looked even better if I had more wall space, but that’s not the Wallpaper’s fault. Would look best on a large unobstructed wall because each hexagon is about 12” or so. Easy to apply, and I did it by myself. Sticks firmly but forgiving, if you make an error and need to move it. Overall the product is awesome. Looks great. Is made out of a nice thick material. Easy to stick to wall and easy to correct if u need to pull off and realign. Only negative thing I'd say is, in order to line the mountains up the mural started walking up the wall on the bottom. I dont think it was printed straight. Not a big deal for the purpose we r using it for as the bed is covering the part of the wall that's not covered. ... show more
