Honestly, you get what you pay for, and this case, I am pleasantly surprised at how lovely this rug is. I would say it's a medium pile, very soft. The colors were exactly as the photo. These rugs have no "batting" on the underside, so I highly recommend getting a felt one for underneath if you are placing it on hard floor as I did. It just makes it feel more plush, especially if you are using it in a living area. If it's under a dining room table you could skip it. Layed out pretty flat immediately.     • This rug is just what o wanted. Colors are compatibl with my room and it adds a lot to the room.

I have never in my life ordered a product that arrived in such awhile condition. Not only does it smell like mildew, but it is filthy. Black/grey staining throughout the entire rug. See the pictures for yourself.

Well I ordered it, and . . . sent it back on same truck. I was afraid what I wanted to do wasn't going to work or be okay with me! And I have to live with me. If I'm not happy . . . Well, It's hard to live with myself. So I looked and looked and kept coming back to this rug. There's very light cream colored carpet in my home. The living room is the very center of the house. I stayed on pins and needles worried it was going to get ruined. So I wanted a rug, couldn't pay a whole lot, and then realized I'd have to have some kind of pad. I thought I could get a nonskid rug and be good to go. Of course not! So then I had to find a pad that wouldn't ruin my cream color carpet, or discolor it. I learned that felt would be best and I decided it needed to be white. I found it - Grip It! I ordered it as big as my rug, 9 x 12. It said it had a non-transferable adhesive that would hold it only I missed that it was on both sides. My rug came then the pad came. I'm an old woman and I thought for three days how I was goin to tackle the situation. Then I found the sticky was on both sides of the pad😕. I was too embarrassed to return the rug again so I decided to tackle the job. I gathered up my bad knees and back and three days later I had it done! I must say - I'm so glad I did this. It made my living room feel more homey and I just love it! The rug is beautiful and the colors are beautiful! I have to tell you, the day the rug was arriving, I actually spilled a cup of coffee on my beautiful light cream carpet. The very thing I was afraid of. 😨 I rubbed and rubbed with a dry towel then used Woollite carpet cleaner, the can with the scrub brush on it. Every bit of the coffee came out. No stain!! But I'm still glad I got this rug. It's very good quality, soft, and perfect! It lays flat except the very tip of the corners which I've got the tape for. Thanks Signature Carpets for working me. Even my daughter says it's pretty - and that's saying something. ... show more
