Love this desk so far. Only issues I had was the tower platform at the bottom. My tower is slightly to tall to fit so I removed it. Other than that this desk is awesome

    • Great Desk But Heads Up

I've had this desk for a bit now and would have given it a 5/5 rating had it not been for the LEDs. I've only used the LEDs a handful of times and a few days ago I noticed that the LEDs do not work anymore, or at least the sensor that connects to them doesn't as the remote still works and the LED strip flashes as I unplug them and plug them back in. Not sure if there's a way to fix this, but for paying so much money I'd expect something as simple as an LED strip to work. The only other complaint I have is for the idiot who thought putting the drink holder/cooler above where the PC goes is an absolute failure of an engineer and is the reason I don't use the holder. All I need is for a leak to drip onto my pc, and after the LED strip issue I can't trust it. Otherwise it's a great desk with a good amount of room, albeit expensive. Is it worth $200? Absolutely. $300? If the LED strips didn't have an issue, sure (though remember to measure your pc case to make sure you have room as it is a tight fit down there). $400? Ehhh, if you have the excess funds and like the style then go for it, but otherwise I'd hold off and try to snag this on a super sale for less than $300. ... show more

    • A good desk to have, not worth the money however
I've had this desk for about a month now and it's a nice desk to have. It's sturdy, big and fits with my room's overall style. However, there are some negative aspects of this desk I do not like and I will list them off along with more pros Pros: -Sturdy, the desk does not sway at all and feels super solid -Big surface area, which is what I personally like -USB port that I use to charge my phone, no longer will I be using my computer to charge my phone -Nice and wide storage compartments Cons: -Back of the desk, there's this long strip of wood that cuts off about 25%-30% of the back space in the desk. I had swivel desk mount and a ring light that both clip onto the desk but because of that strip of wood I'm unable to use my swivel desk mount and my ring light stand barely fits. -Front storage area, now I know I complimented the storage being nice and spacious but that comes with a cost. My legs barely have any room, I had to lower my seat height just so my legs wouldn't be rubbing up against the bottom of the desk all the time. Even then my legs still have very little room on the top. I don't know who tested this desk and thought that having that little room for your legs was a good idea, cause it ain't. -LED light strips, it's just cheap-o light strips. -(Biggest Con) Getting the actual desk, so this one isn't on the desk itself or Amazon but Ashley Furniture themselves. I got the desk when it was supposed to be delivered. I open the box to start building the desk but I was faced with a problem. I got the wrong set of directions (what I did get was directions to build a glass round table.) That wasn't a big deal, I could just get the directions online which I did. But then I found out something else. Because I got the wrong directions, the person putting the box together gave me the parts that were for that set of directions. All the screws, nuts and bolts were not for this table but for the glass table. I ordered the parts through Ashley, which was free, but it took 10 days for the parts to come in. So for those 10 days my office was a mess with bars, cardboard, foam and a bunch of other stuff and I wasn't even able to build the desk during that time. TL;DR: It's a good desk but it has flaws that isn't worth the amount of money I spent. If you plan to buy this desk I recommend you keep looking. It's a lot of money that I do wish I could get back because at first I loved this desk, but during the one month of having it I do kinda regret buying this. ... show more

This desk is sturdy, spacious, and beautiful. Easy to assemble and fits all my office and gaming peripherals with ease. My tower doesn't fit on the little shelf on the floor of the desk (large form-factor, Cooler Master HAF) but I put my subwoofer there and it looks fine. I absolutely love the LED lights. It's gotten me addicted and I want to add more LEDs to my office, now! Cable management is good (there's a little shelf in the back of the desk). I was able to hide the cables for three monitors, a power strip, and speaker cables without issue. No problem fitting my chair, I know some reviews mentioned this. I did have to move my armrests up a tiny bit but not an issue. Would definitely recommend if you don't need a standing desk and want one that's beautiful, spacious, and sturdy. ... show more

I've had this desk for a few weeks now, and I absolutely love it. It's a solid construction and has plenty of space for my gaming PC and has massive room for storage in it's cubby. A few things to note though... 1. My tower barely fits on the lower rack, and my tower is considered a 'medium' sized one. 2. The drink cooler fan is nosier than my PC itself when it is on, so I actually never use it. The drink holder portion is still nice and fits all regular sized drinks. 3. Most importantly, the price on this thing goes in waves, and is also sold on Ashley's website, among many others. Be sure to shop around and watch it's price. Excellent, sturdy desk. Easy to put together (recommend 2 people at times) and very good construction. No damaged parts - all aligned and went into place easily. The upper shelf is perfect for multi-monitor setup. I put 2 of my 4 screens on a separate vertical stand but sturdy for others. Gives extra cubby area under the desk shelf to store things out of the way. Same for lower shelf, cubby type storage under the main desk and allows papers and stuff to be out of the way. The cup holder cools my drinks - excellent for continuous work calls (I miss my mini-fridge from my office). The LED lights allow me to skip the overhead room lights at night - though I recommend a Razer keyboard to light up as well. I recommend this desk for gaming and WFH office replacement. Its 5 feet length gives excellent room to work. Its multi-tier shelving is great for spreading out PC based equipment. I even ordered a 2 shelf book shelf and a 2 drawer cabinet for under the desk - ample leg room. I highly recommend and the Lava lamp is optional (but also recommended)! ... show more
