This umbrella is very hard to open. I pushed hard on the button and had to really put some effort into forcing the umbrella up. This made it less than ideal on a cold, rainy Monday morning when getting out of my car, hands full on my way into work. I'm not sure I would have been really fond of the umbrella material itself in the long run either. It is "crinkly" sounding - don't know how else to describe it. The color was kind of muted as well, not as bright as I expected. My previous inverted umbrella gave up the ghost and I've been searching for a suitable replacement...this is not it:( ... show more

    • Flamingo umbrella
I really like reverse inverted umbrellas. The water stays on the inside so I don't get wet. It's easy to open it while getting out of the car and has a reflective strip on it so it can been seen more easily at night. But the best part is the flamingo motif on the inside so I can see it.

LOVED my umbrella! We got married in the rain forest last month and I this umbrella made the pictures complete. Shipping was quick and quality was great. I actually bought two different designs. Highly recommend.

    • Doesn't close easily

The umbrella is great, other than the fact that it doesn't close easily. When closing the umbrella, you really have to pull hard on it, in order for it to securely click closed, otherwise it just opens right back up.

I had this umbrella for only a few months. A leg of the frame broke, then ripped the lining and the exterior layers. I would often not fully close either. If I were the manufacturer, I would improve the frame joints as well as the operation of the umbrella. Not closing in your car is NOT a good idea. ... show more
