It’s good quality desk at a great price. Instructions are clear and easy to assemble. You will need a different screw driver(not included in the kit) to screw the motor controller but it’s not a big deal. It goes up and down smoothly. Great maple colour. Desktop comes in two pieces but the separation is hardly noticeable. I skipped on drawer as looked like cheap quality plastic. The desk in picture is 48*24. Heavy-gauge, very solid black-coated stamped, drilled and tapped steel construction was a breeze to assemble. Instructions were extremely clear. Sleek, attractive minimalist design. All components arrive in excellent condition, and fit each other exactly as designed. NOTE ON ASSEMBLY: Instructions are very clear. READ them, too; don't just look at the pictures. At the bottom of every page, the assembly pamphlet clearly advises to WAIT to tighten ALL screws until ALL screws have been threaded into place. This is REALLY IMPORTANT: do this for a straight, rigid assembly. It's designed this way so that final tightening provides a uniform tension as things get tightened. Got that right the first time around: my desk is flat on its broad feet and dead level. NOTE ON USE WITH KEYBOARD TRAYS: This is on me: I should have waited to order a keyboard tray until I had the desk at hand; I ordered the familiar sturdy Vivo, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H7UGD7Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, and found that the desk's sturdy cross braces do not have sufficient space for this model's bracket. There is 11" of free space under the desktop from front edge to the front cross brace; the tray model I'd ordered requires 18". Again: my problem, but good to know, in retrospect! This keyboard tray is probably unsuited for most electric desks. SAFETY NOTE (unrelated to quality of product) The only snag was a literal one encountered during unpacking: the staple on the end of the red ribbon that secured the plastic bag containing the instruction sheet to the shipping container. The red ribbon extended outside the box (where it was firmly taped to the outside of the package) so it would be clearly visible; I did not anticipate that as I grabbed the ribbon and yanked it, there might be a -staple- securing the end of the ribbon inside the box to the instructions baggie. Ouch!. (This is in no way a problem with the product.) COMMENTS: Great product, reasonable price, fine value. - Seller might consider including front-to-back mounting area underneath for accessories is 11" max; this is not a typical spec, and may be typical of adjustable-height desks. Velcro wire management strips were included; obviously, I have a couple more to deploy. - Wire basket that holds power supply and excess cable behind the cross-braces seems to have been folded the wrong way around to fit as indicated in the instructions. the tabs on the brace to hold it are a nice, snug fit for the wire gauge, but the transverse reinforcing wires of the basket are on the outside of the basket, so that the basket cannot be inserted into the tabs unless it's oriented opposite the view in the instructions. The media could not be loaded. The desk arrived at my house a day early. I took it to work where I’ll be using it and put it together in about an hour and 15 minutes. I didn’t have help, but it will go much faster with a second person. There’s enough hardware, and extra hardware. The top of the desk comes in two pieces. Most of the screws, except the ones to hold in the height navigator can be screwed in with an Allen wrench. I used a small star screw driver for the keypad (height navigator). There are four presets, which is more than enough for one person, and an up and down arrow. I don’t know what exactly the numbers mean, maybe centimeters, but it goes from 69 to 114 in height. The desk is NOT wobbly at all. I have the 48” one. It’s more than enough space. I do emails and cold calling all day, so I needed enough space for two monitors and a manual way to take notes. The directions are easy to follow. The legs are wobbly and won’t stand up straight on their own because they’re too top heavy, but once you get passed the 2nd or 3rd step then it’s good to go. On the bottom of the instructions it says something about don’t screw in the screws until they’re all started, which basically means put them in enough so they don’t fall out, and then tighten them. If you start on one end and screw all the way in then some of the pieces don’t line up right and you have to start again. The instructions tell you that you can hang the basket and hooks on any side, that it is up to your preference, but I didn’t know what my preference was starting out, so it’s nice you can move them after you’re done. For the record, my preference is to have the basket on the back and the hooks on the right, as that is the side closest to the door of my office, so I can just hang up my purse. I was really worried that the desk would be annoyingly cheap because it was less than $200 and my brother told me good standing desks aren’t less than $600, but this one is great. I had to add an extension cord thing to plug all my stuff in because the desk needs to be plugged into power to work, but it wasn’t a big deal. The basket can hold the electrical for the desk and the extra extension cord. I am very pleased with this purchase and grateful for the reviews of this product because they were all correct! The only thing that is semi-inconvenient is that sometimes when I’m holding the button to move the desk up or down it pauses, but I think that’s just so you get the exact height you want without it going too fast. There is a LOT of styrofoam protecting the pieces of the desk inside the box and you may make a mess of it where ever you set up, but I’ll take it since none of the parts were damaged or unusable. I do think this desk may be hard to transport as is, so it may be beneficial to take the table top off and transport it separately if needed. If you read this far, this is your sign to BUY this! This desk is amazing! The setup only took 15 minutes, and it made my setup look amazing. I recommend this desk to anyone. Gaming or office work, it’s doesn’t matter. It also rises pretty high, and can go decently low. Very sturdy, very quiet motor, and very easy to put together.
