As far as stain-removal laundry pre-treatment solutions go, this stuff is better than most. The directions also say that it doesn't need to be left on the stain for very long either. It does a good job and doesn't take a long time to do it. I sure wish the agitating brush was part of some kind of cap instead of just being the top of the bottle where vigorous agitation makes more cleaning goo come out. I'm sure that was part of the packaging design to help the consumer use more product than necessary. Regardless, it's good stuff, and most pre-treatment cleaners don't even include an agitation brush, which is absolutely essential to properly remove stains. ... show more

Works on tough stains even after they been through the wash. A+ You will be able to see the stain disappear while you scrub it out with the built in brush/top. Blood, wine, oil, grease… all gone! Amazing stuff.

My wardrobe would be in a dumpster fire without shout. If you have kids, I guess they grow out of their clothes fast enough stains don’t matter as much? But when I was a kid, I had to buy my own clothes and wash them too. I will never forget The terror of chlorinated bleach as a child. I didn’t know. I was allergic to chlorine back then. Shout stain remover works model man clothes on furniture, rugs carpets walls. I love everything about this stuff except that it has fragrance in it.     • Best stain remover I have used
This is the only stain remover I have found that gets rid of older stains. I put it on the stain and let it sit a day or two (whenever I do the wash again). Once washed the stains are gone. Our local grocery stores seem to not carry this anymore, instead they carry another name brand that I have not had the same good experiences with. There really is not a scent to the stain remover. I have not experienced any type of leakage when purchasing this item. I would love a larger size bottle because we are a messy family, but we will live with what we can get. ... show more
