  • Has very good sound, but gets stuck in statuses
Style: OpenMeet UC(USB-A)
I've been using these for the past couple days and I am amazed by the sound quality competed to the Opencomm. The Bluetooth range is also amazing. I only have a couple issues: 1. It get stuck in light indicator status even when not in use, which I think is draining the battery as I have had to charge it three's time in three days. 2. Does not provide a tight fit. For example if I bend over it falls off and I have changed the size pads on the sides but does not seem to help. Over all I still think it's a step up from the Opencomm but I hope that can fix the software issue for the stays lights. ... show more

  • Uncomfortable and surround is too loud
Style: OpenMeet UC(USB-A)
Pros: Comfort & Fit: Lightweight and fits well. Different size options included for adjustments. Call Quality & Noise Cancellation: Excellent call quality with no complaints from callers. Effectively blocks out loud mechanical keyboard noise. Connectivity: Simultaneous connection to both Windows PC and phone. Easy transition from listening to music to answering calls. No connection issues experienced. Sound Quality: Decent sound, better than expected. Great for calls, though not bass-heavy for music. Cons: Comfort & Fit: Sideways pressure on temples causes some discomfort, even after adjustments. Mic Positioning & Mute Functionality: Mic cannot be switched to the other side, which is inconvenient for right-handed users. Mute button placement on the mic is not easily accessible. No quick mic flip-to-mute option; button must be pressed. Annoying "mute on" voice notification instead of a simple sound cue. Volume Control: Headset volume operates independently from the computer, causing inconsistency. Requires manual adjustment in the Windows volume mixer to fully mute. Software Limitations: Settings can only be accessed via the mobile app; no Windows app available. No keyboard shortcut support for muting; relies on the softphone switch instead. Environmental Noise Issues: Because this headset is designed to allow you to hear your environment, it does not work well if there are other noises that you are trying to avoid hearing. Since I live near an airport and have a washing machine right outside my door, I thought the benefit of hearing my family would be helpful, but it has turned out to be a distraction, and I can't focus at all now. ... show more

  • Fantastic audio but don't stay on my head
Style: OpenMeet
Audio quality is better than open comm2, music sound great, rich , not flat audio and mic noise canceling is impressive. However on single actions like tilt my head to the front or look the ceiling are enough to drop the headphones to the floor, they not stay on my head and does not matter if I use any of the cushions provided or move the arc to diferent positions The only way to keep it in my head is wear a cap, a hat or an elastic band otherwise I need to stay like a mommy on my desk barely breathing This is so sad because I will go to return it despite the excellent audio quality of this design Hopefully shokz improve the design to resolve this error ... show more

  • Lightweight, Good Quality
Style: OpenMeet UC(USB-C)
I've been using a Sennheiser on-ear stereo headset for years working from home, and it has served me well. Lately, I've been spending more time during the day in meetings, vs earlier on when I'd have one or two short meets each day, and I've been trying to find something that wasn't on or over-ear that would work for me. I want good quality in the mic as well as the speakers, though, and that's proven difficult to find. Along comes the OpenMeet UC (USB version), so I thought I'd give it a try. I've tried a few of the other Shokz headsets before with various results. The OpenRun that my wife has, the mic audio isn't very good, according to my coworkers. The something-something "Pro" that I tried (Shokz bone conduction with boom mic) I didn't like. The first time I put it on, I almost smacked it off my own head because it tickled my face with the strong vibration, so I never even tried it in a meeting. The OpenMeet UC, though, when I put it on, it didn't tickle my face. I can barely feel the vibration in my skin, which is good. The sound quality isn't as good as the Sennheiser on-ear set that I have, but it's good enough. I don't think you'll ever find a bone conduction headset that sounds as good as air conduction, but it's definitely good enough for my work, and I'll likely listen to music from time to time in it as I work. The area of contact on your face is greater than the smaller Shokz headsets that I've tried, but it doesn't seem to be uncomfortable. It's definiteliy lighter than my Sennheiser. My coworkers said that it sounds pretty good to them, from that perspective as well. I only have one minor issue, and I've gotten around it. I wear reading glasses, so they're on and off frequently. The wire coming from under the band going to the ear piecs was an issue with the glasses, until I put a small zip-tie around to hold that wire in place on the outside of the headband part, so it is now out of the way of the glasses and I can put them on and take them off without even noticing the headband of the headset. I'm hoping that in a week or two I'll be able to take the zip-ties off and the wires will hold the new shape that I've given them, but even if they don't, having the zip-ties on there is not a big deal. ... show more
