After reading other reviews I was unsure whether or not to order my actual size (L as I wear a 9) or to go up a size to XL due to several reviews stating the shoes run small. Due to Amazon Prime's great refund policy, I decided to order my actual size and I'm glad I did as the L Fit perfectly without any hint of tightness. I wonder whether different colors/prints fit differently and think it would be helpful for future reviewers to state which they ordered. Mine were the tan snake print. As to reviews stating that the shoes are unsuitable to be worn on rocks, gravel, etc - duh? The point of these shoes is to always have a travel sized pair of flats at the ready for when your heels are killing you - at weddings, stumbling drunkenly home from a club, etc. These are not meant to be every day shoes and will not hold up in that case I'm sure. Enjoy them for what they are and don't complain that you didn't get a season of hiking out of $6.99 flats. The bag is pretty decent quality with a zipper, the flats will relieve your aching feet when your sexy Christian Louboutins make you want to drown yourself in the water pitcher but not much more than that. ... show more

I usually wear a 7.5 to 8 and I bought the 7/8 size and it fits perfect. 5 stars for size. They are very comfortable, 5 stars for comfort. There is no support at all and a very thin sole, I'm a little disappointed about that, but they will make great slippers. There are 2 different types of foldable ballet flats by Shoes 18 one type (the kind i bought 1st in nude, pictured below and comes in a smaller pouch with a carrying loop) and a second kind (which i bought in yellow, see pic) that has a different bow on the shoe that's been stitched around the edges and has little golden "baubles" if you will at the end. The sole is much much thicker than the nude colored one and it actually has a thicker part at the heel having about an 1/8 inch heal. The zipper pouch is different as well (see pic) so a review of the yellow pair:. I bought size 7/8 and they fit perfectly. 5 stars for size. They are comfortable, 5 stars for comfort. And best of all, they have a very nice thick heal that you can actually wear outdoors without feeling every pebble underfoot. I actually wore them around on my gravel driveway and they are great. So, depending on what you want them for will determine the style you buy. I want to wear them outside and i want them for traveling, hence the reason for the foldable flats. My previous review was only 2 stars because what i got wasn't like the picture, but then i realized my mistake (the two different styles. I quickly ordered every color in the thick soled version. I wish they had more colors because they are awesome. I'd love the snake skin ones in the thick soled version. Absolutely love these shoes since i got the right ones. Update: 6/22/17 I wore these shoes all day with shorts so I didn't wear socks with them. They were comfortable for several hours, but by the afternoon, I was ready for a break. The elastic around the edges rubbed my feet a little sore and raw so I changed into my flat sandals for a break. If I can get them worn in (and get my feet used to the elastic) they would be ok for all day. I might even put in a thin insert to give a little cushion on the soles if I wear them all day. ... show more

I really wanted to like these. I had high hopes. I thought in would like the "silver slipper" look. I wear a size 8.5, and after reading reviews I ordered a L, size 9/10. Well, they were too long, so I returned them and got a size M, size 7/8. These fit better but are a bit snug. So I guess if you are between sizes it depends on your preference. A bit long or a bit snug. As for "comfortable" well that's debatable. I was hoping they would feel great after a long night in heals, but they have absolutely NO cushion. Even less than a slipper. They are literally are like vinal socks. Not breathable, thin, see your toes, no cushion socks. If you fancy walking barefoot, these are great for you. Maybe after a long night in heals, it might feel better, but I'd say not. Update: finally got to use these. Went to an outdoor event wearing heals, with these tucked away in my purse. 1/2 way through the night I slipped them on. I was outdoors on a asphalt parking lot and after walking in heals for hours I was hoping for some relief. Nope. These were almost worse. The seam rubbed roughly against my big toes making them really uncomfortable, to the point where every time I sat down, I slipped them off. And the thin sole... painful. I would have almost preferred to be barefoot. The only good thing I can say is my feet stayed clean wearing them. Maybe buying the larger size and slipping an incert would help, but as is... nope. ... show more

I usually wear a 7.5-8. I bought a size medium. Pros: -Worth it for $13 - The bag fits in a cross body clutch easily - Not horrifically ugly - Comfy - Thick enough sole to wear outside Cons: - I feel like my toe nail is going to rip the faux leather on top - Back of shoe is square making a somewhat awkward fit on the heel - Inside of shoe feels like suede and makes your feet SWEAT Overall, for the price, it's good enough just so you can have something when you go out and need a break from heels. ... show more

my actual foot length is probably 8.5-9, but I typically wear 9-10 WW to get wide enough shoes (often resorting to mens wide as well). so, i tried these shoes in both 9-10, and also 11. The 9-10 was plenty roomy for even my very fat feet. as other reviewers have stated, there is not much of a sole on this shoe and i can't speak for longevity, but i think they should last for the occasional use. i have difficulty finding wide enough shoes for any style, and especially dress shoes, so have had to resort to this kind of fold up ballet style as my only dress shoes (interior & exterior wear). These are particularly good for travel as they fold & weigh next to nothing. wish they had the sequined style in more colors. ... show more

These are exactly what I need when I go out in heels and can't stand by the end of the night! Very thin, love the travel tote, super flat. You can buy insoles if you want I guess but I don't plan to use them to wear all day.
