The material is not real suede, the boots are not particularly well made but they’re pretty cute and not terribly uncomfortable if you get the correct size. I had no issue with them staying up. I got both the brown and black to see which would look better with an outfit and ended up deciding to keep both. Don’t expect to be getting anything fancy or that will last very long at this price. These boots are nice for the price. Not daily wear but nice for date night, sexy with jeans or leggings. There not dressy but the thigh high length is definitely a sexy look, especially if you have long legs. They may not work for thick thighs. The heel height is just fine. I wouldn't say they're durable or well made. The stitching is eh. I'll probably wear them 4-5 times this fall/winter season as I have alot of boots! Let’s dig in! I’m between 4’11 and 5’0 ft., 190lbs with thick thighs These heel boots were a little snug putting on (I wore thick tall socks) but I didn’t mind it. They were comfortable to walk 3 blocks in, dance and stand in line for 10 minutes without my feet Hurting. (Again, thick socks help) I got compliments all night. Very soft and easy to put on. Stayed up on my thigh while walking. Not tight while walking either. Nice height and very comfortable. Easy to remove. There was a slight smell to them. Let them sit out of packaging to let them air out. Loved these!
