The fitted sheet did slip off our king size mattress but we have a very thick mattress and also have an adjustable bed so it difficult to keep fitted sheets from slipping off with the raising and lowering of the bed. The sheets are great. I ordered a dark gray and assumed that was a solid dark grey like the picture. It was more of. Grey/black heather style of dark gray instead of solid.
