The previous product started on high when first turned on. The buttons on this one also seem to be much more “sturdy” and responsive than the last. I have used this for a few years now, a couple of times a month. I owned a few vibrating toys before this but not many and most of them were insertion toys, which honestly didn't work for me. The fact that this one is rechargeable was a major draw because I was tired of buying new batteries every time I used a bullet (they would die between uses) and the power level of this was quite a surprise at first. There is a short learning curve to find preferences on power levels, and enough variety to keep from getting bored with it. The battery seems to be finally giving out on me and not holding charge the way it used to, but I bought it in 2018, so... several years of irregular but satisfying use. TLDR It’s a great toy, it’s strong, colorful, but it might break quickly and isn’t super quiet. PROS: The color variety is so wonderful and much more diverse than most other toys The price is definitely affordable, and the product is decent at this price point of about $20 This wands texture is pleasant! It’s smooth and easy to clean. It also doesn’t have the tendency to pick up hair or fuzz like some other toys can. A pro for me, but maybe not for others is that this wand is pretty strong. It might not be great for first time users but I definitely enjoy its power. I love that this toy is rechargeable! Its battery life is decent for the price point, and it can be used for a bit of a longer session, depending on the power setting you have it on. While I didn’t often use it in water, it’s worth noting that it’s water resistant at least. CONS: The main downside of this toy is that it tends to break easily or quickly. I’ve bought this toy at least three times because it would break at least annually (but sometimes as soon as 3-6 months) It’s also not super quiet, but the sound can be dampened by using a blanket. This may be an issue for people who have thin walls or don’t have a lot of privacy. WHO SHOULD BUY People who are interested in trying a wand, but aren’t able to/worry about investing in an expensive toy. Someone who is tired of buying batteries for their current/past toy but don't mind a shorter lifespan of their toy. Someone who doesn’t expect to use it as an everyday toy. Bought our first one in the beginning of 2018 and loved it. Plenty of power and quiet. Lasted 6 years until the motor finally started losing power. Replaced it with the same one in July of 2023. The new one started making a loud rattling noise after only a few uses. Upon inspection we noticed the silicone covering the vibrating motor in the head had separated and the vibration against the silicone made the noise. If you pulled the cover tight, the noise went away. The motor was still strong but the noise became irritating. We replaced that one in October 2023 with another one, thinking it was just a random defect. After a few uses with the newer one, the same thing happened. Again we replaced it in January 2024. Now it is April and the same thing has happened again. They must have changed the glue or something. Seems like after 3-4 months it separates. This time we’ll spend a little extra and get a massager that will last more than a few months. ... show more
