I am currently loving this dryer. I keep it by my back door both for drying my Great Pyrenees dog after her baths and after rainstorms. She needs 2 baths a week due to allergies and loves to play in the rain.     • Works for getting the loose undercoat of our shedding husky

We have used a furinator, a rake, and a slicker brush, to get the undercoat off our two year old husky when he is blowing his coat. Daily brushing didn’t come close to using this dryer one time to remove the loose undercoat. I wish we had of bought this when our husky first lost his puppy coat. One use with the blower and pretty much all the loose fur was gone. All the clumped fur is definitely gone and our husky looks and probably feels fantastic. I had doubts before using it. There are a lot more expensive and more rated hp dryers in the listings, but I thought it wise to get one with a replaceable hose. I didn’t find other hoses on Amazon for the other dryers . The other dryers looked like the hoses had custom connections, so I settled on this one. I also purchased the longer hose to keep the motor further away. Noise wasn’t an issue, but I should have bought dog ear muffs to protect the ears. Learning as we go. ... show more

While I think the dryer motor and features are good, I ran into some issues my first time using it. As a home groomer, I didn't want to mount it, and that became a problem. The hose is pretty heavy and tightly coiled. It weighs more than the motor unit and is so tightly coiled that when you move the hose the dryer motor is going to fly off the table or roll around on you. When moving the hose to get the other side of my dog, the motor unit fell off my table and broke during my first use. I even tried to stretch out the hose and had already opened up the stabilizer feet, but it didn't matter. I need portability and don't want to mount it, but I can't use it without securing the motor unit to something. The unit also got pretty hot by the end of my 20 minute drying session. If you have a big pet, I would recommend getting a sturdier unit. I'm hoping this thing lasts at least awhile longer, because I can't afford another one right now. ... show more

Wow this thing is really nice for the price. It's small yet mighty powerful, too. Much better than the blow dryer for people. The dog was a little scared cause at high speed it's pretty loud. It has a pretty solid feel to it, nothing seems cheap or flimsy about it. Nice long chord, nice long hose, sponge around the hose where you hold it so your hand doesn't get too warm when the heat is on. Only problem is the heat is not adjustable separately from the fan, when you turn up the fan then you turn up the heat at the same time. You do have a choice of fan only or with heat though, but when adjusting it up or down, they are both adjusted with the same dial. This thing is making my grooming a pleasure because it is so much faster, easier on my body and the dog also. ... show more

I love this!! Different settings and it’s great for every dog size. I have a mix of a basset bound and standard poodle and he sheds so much I use this before and after taking him a bath and it helps me better than a towel!!

I'm an in-home pet groomer with my own business and I need a new dryer because my old one broke. After researching for days I finally decided on this machine because I didn't need something really expensive or really big but did get the job done. Even on the lowest setting it puts out a good amount of air. I read how people were saying that it's loud it's a four-star there's no such thing as a quiet Force dryer. It's not as loud as my last one which was a handheld, it does weigh less than my handheld also. When I first opened up the box I was surprised how small it was but when I turned into one I couldn't believe the power that was coming out of it. Because my drawing time down more than half. I wouldn't recommend this for a big shot before people like me to run their own business from their home that don't do a huge amount of dogs this is the perfect machine. The heating element takes time to warm up but to me it feels too hot , I really wouldn't recommend using it because it might overheat the dog while in the middle of the drying process.
