I bought this for camping/outdoors, but it was already useful in my home when i needed to wrap something up. Its really giant, so it can hold quite a bit of whatever you want to carry, and it certainly fits over my giant head. Haven't tried it in the woods but I'm sure its going to be a core part of my kit. I bought several of these in different colors. They all came in a plastic package and had an odd chemical smell. Once I washed them the smell went away and they both kept their color and got much softer. All in all, I am satisfied.

Good to put one on when cutting the grass. I was always wondering why after cutting my own lawn why I couldn't breathe properly. My sinuses were blocked for 4 days! I decided to try the Shemagh scarf and WOW no more blocked sinuses!
